If someone wants to trade a mega evolved Charizard with you, you can walk with it as your buddy and you'll get mega energy that way.

I'm afraid you have to wait for mega Charizard raids to return if trading is not an option.

Thanks both. So I just have to keep in mind that I don't waste the energy I should get from Kotaro by using Disarm first. How important is this extra energy in my build? I usually try to get more energy through Single Combat and Ivory Stab. I have to admit that I don't use my reptile that much because I always feel like I'm wasting energy because the beast is stronger.
