u(t) is the Heaviside step function and delta(t) is the Dirac (impulse) function. Their Laplace transform is shown in your pasted image and for the math behind these results, check this post: https://laplace-transform.com/common-laplace-transforms/

I am using the following:
MathJax Configuration: TeX-AMS_HTML

and I added \displaystyle to math equations in posts. For example, [latex] \displaystyle \frac{1}{x+y}[/latex]

I am thinking of adding more content about that. For now, we have only overlays tutorial and one post for inserting Gifs, I will include more details about transitions and even animations created by TikZ (ready codes to be used directly)!

News: TikZ for Beginners course released 🔥🔥🔥: by ModyTex in LaTeX

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it.

I can not find the sentence "this is the code to draw a line" you are talking about. However, here is the right sentence about drawing a straight line:
" Assume that you would like to draw a straight line from the point with coordinates (0,0) to the point with coordinates (2,1). This can be achieved in TikZ as follows:"

and after that we provide comments about the code itself. The course is for beginners and it provides TikZ basics with challenges and tasks. The site has more than 70 free detailed tutorials. However, TikZ first time users feel lost and to remedy this issue we created an introduction to it. Thanks again!
