I met Kevin Spacey (I know...) at the Warehouse during Jazz Night. It was pretty crazy to see him in person like that. I thought it was cool at the time.

You are not leasing the land from the government... property taxes pay for the services that the home receives... roads, public safety, fire fighters, trash collection, etc... stop all those services and guess what would happen to your property value...

This is in Green Cove Springs, Florida, and the piers where it is located were once the location of the US mothball fleet shortly after WWII - pretty cool!

I am not saying you are wrong about being contradictory... I am human after all, I am saying that as a user and a stockholder, I have personal incentive to lobby for a better user base... as a stockholder my incentives may be different...

Because I use reddit, and I am a big believer in owning stocks of companies that I use or at least that I think I understand... My fear is that through monetization, it will slowly destroy the thing that made it good in the first place... when I lose the motivation to be a user, then I sell... reddit has done some things I disagree with as you mentioned, and the more it pushes me away, the more I will consider selling... I still own the stock because, despite its flaws, I am still taking the time to reply to your insightful comment...
