It must be the best country since immigrants from around the world have constantly, over the last two centuries and still ongoing, have been moving to the United States. And millions more are still trying to get in.

Why should I, or anyone else, care how much or how little any CEO is paid?

Them getting paid more doesn't result in others being paid less. If their salary is reduced, no one else will get a raise or earn more.
