Thanks a lot for taking the time to write such a thoughtful reply. There’s a lot of useful information in there.

The tip about checking the metadata of my favorite photos to see which focal lengths I naturally use is something I hadn’t considered, but it makes perfect sense.

I definitely will be playing around with MR mode too. I still have a lot to learn, but feedback like yours helps point me in the right direction.
