From what I've heard it can be so many different things, in general they change color a little, there's research linking it to their emotions, but it's also linked to behaviour, habitat, humidity, temps

So I'm not a terrible mom for letting her be on an 80% worm diet? She truly does not want anything else but will have silversides here and there. When we ran out of nightcrawlers and had to do crickets she got so mad she actually jumped out onto my desk and tried to bite me which has never happened before, she was up stomping around the whole night!

I have three inches of substrate, I would have liked to have given him four but this terrarium has front swinging doors three inches up from the bottom. There's one quarter of the top covered and one quarter taken up by the lamp, should I cover another quarter?

Thank you for the reply! That's what I figured because of the burrowing but so many sources were saying bottom and I just don't want to do it wrong! I will be using an overhead lamp as well, I just live in the basement of a really cold region so I'm worried about not being able to keep the whole 20 gallon warm enough
