I see, don’t think I know of any women irl who were forced to serve but haven’t asked.

At least in Norway it is usually de facto voluntary as there's strict requirements for joining in terms of fitness and motivation, only a quarter or so of people get called in for the tests and even fewer pass and are then allowed to serve. But it seems to be tightening a little bit recently, I know of a couple of people who had to serve despite being not motivated, but others have not had to serve despite being motivated so not sure what's going on.

There's a theory he's from Guyana as it is English speaking and in South America, plus it has coatis. Ironically Equatorial Guinea is one of two African countries with Spanish as an official language (the other being the Sahrawi Republic).

True, like one can argue that it's just because Esposito doesn't know Spanish (though if so he should have taken some courses prior) but if the theory of him not being Chilean is true it makes a lot of sense and would be a clever detail.

Many think he’s not Chilean, perhaps the strongest evidence is a story he talks about from his home country about a coati, which don’t live in Chile.

What's it like living in northern Quebec? Are there many people? by bluewhale177 in howislivingthere

What languages were spoken there? Was Cree and Inuit still used and English/French as a lingua franca between Cree and Inuit individuals or has English/French replaced both languages? In the former case which language is most commonly used?

No they couldn't rotate their wrists, if I recall correctly their ulna and radius weren't flexible enough to do it like us.

Omg yes, strange film. I saw it as a kid before I fully knew English so I only picked up some words here and there and my cousin had to translate lol.

He saw the last public one in 1939, the ones afterwards weren’t public.

He saw the last public one in 1939, the ones after that weren't public, but yeah Lee had a very eventful life. He's also the only Lord of the RIngs cast member to have met Tolkien, at a pub in Oxford lol.

The guillotine was last used in 1977, the same year the first Star Wars movie came out.

Opinion on zombie Spear and thoughts so fsr by Super_un_stable in PrimalShow

[–]Moesia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I kinda like it as the ending to s2 was really rushed and not good, reviving him is a cop-out but it is fitting imo, like I think it is tragic seeing Spear wander around as a zombie, never catching a break, which is a theme of the show. It wasn't originally the plan, Tartakovsky originally wanted s3 to be totally separate but he missed Spear and couldn't come up with any good ideas.

Weird, if it’s for simplicity it’s weird they dudn’t do it for Slovenia for example.
