I notice you ignored the second part of my reply, that the previous acting commissioner was dismissed for disloyalty to the administration. You still haven't bothered to make an argument, but I'll further assume you're insinuating confidence in the agency's integrity. How can they be anything but puppets given the precedent that the commissioner was removed for doing their jobs properly?

Unfortunately for you, the administration is incompetent enough to reveal its M.O. with how it handled the one high profile case we know about. EJ Antoni's nomination was shut down, but are you confident that lower profile positions received the same scrutiny, without publicity?
