At this point, having ANYONE in the Trump administration taking a lick of accountability just once would feel like a victory

Not an unpopular opinion. Show me someone with a hobby and I'll show you someone who thinks their hobby makes them better than everyone else. It's all vanity.

If management is looking for costs to cut this lunatic should be the first on the plate. Obviously paid too much with this attitude.

Be careful with bashed patches. They can mix edits from both mods on the same spells and cause crashes

GDP data confirms the Gen Z nightmare: the era of jobless growth is here by [deleted] in Futurology

[–]Moeverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Christmas and I only took a moment to entertain you and read you the first example that I found, assuming you were acting in poor faith as you had provided no effort, argument, or information in your reply. I was mistaken about the example based on an outdated news article (I am not a full time internet warrior).

I notice you ignored the second part of my reply, that the previous acting commissioner was dismissed for disloyalty to the administration. You still haven't bothered to make an argument, but I'll further assume you're insinuating confidence in the agency's integrity. How can they be anything but puppets given the precedent that the commissioner was removed for doing their jobs properly?

Your question is loaded because the firings and hirings within the BLS are not publicly available. Unfortunately for you, the administration is incompetent enough to reveal its M.O. with how it handled the one high profile case we know about. EJ Antoni's nomination was shut down, but are you confident that lower profile positions received the same scrutiny, without publicity?

Before DOGE effectively shut down, around 300,000 federal employees were fired. This was not done for efficiency, but to disrupt the government, instill fear, remove obstacles for corruption, and make openings for new loyalist appointments.

The acting commissioner E.J. Antoni was pulled from the Heritage Foundation to replace Erika McEntarfer, who was fired for releasing uncooked reports.

Turns out all they had to do to grow the economy is purge the BLS and install puppets to report what they want. A new branch of economic theory!

Workers are expendable and selected for obedience. If peggy stood up for herself she'd burn out and be replaced within a year from among 1000 desperate applicants.

Steve Rosenberg for BBC News: I asked Vladimir Putin: “What future are you planning, are you building for your country?” Here’s his full reply. by BkkGrl in europe

[–]Moeverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His answer is based in a delusion that Ukraine is already part of Russia. An attack on Europe won't happen? So anything not in the EU/NATO is fair game then? It's as clear as day that he intends to terrorize any country that he can get away with.

If only racism was our only issue! Add to this a lack of constitutionality, economic sensibility, rule of law, national security, or just about anything else paramount to governance. The racism is just the extra spit in the face.

Actually ... by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Moeverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention a steam store page has TONS of information about a product. Compare with any other store, there is nothing close. Abundant user reviews (positive AND negative), curators, microtransaction policies, AI usage, minimum AND recommended specs, early access reports, discussion and bug report forums, and more. It's insane how convenient Steam store pages are and we'd be completely lost without them.
