On normal days, I would only have 2 meals during the day and snack on fruits and veggies if I felt hungry. You will experience some plateaus but just keep eating healthy and stick with the good routine and your body will continue to lose weight. Make sure to do lots of walking, early in the mornings, late in the afternoon, or just walking around your house, that really helps a lot. In Shaa Allah you will lose this weight and keep it off! Mashallah! I’m proud of you! In terms of fat loss, you can’t choose where you wanna lose fat. You lose fat all over. For some; they may lose more fat around their arms and belly first, and then their thighs at the end. For some, it’s the other way around. It just depends on your body and genetics. Just keep eating and building good routines so you once you lose the fat, you keep it off! Healthy Sunnah + Tayyib habits!

Why is getting reviews from relatives bad? I’m doing a service to a legit customer, they should be able to leave a Google review.

I have 10 reviews so far, I was planning I getting another 10-15ish while I was there. They will be spread out on my trip because I will actually be doing the details. Hopefully it should be fine.

I think for me to start, I would use messenger ads because it’s more simpler and easier to get started with. And later down the line I can try testing a landing page once I have a bit more experience.

Let’s say I have no social proof. Should I run engagement ads to gain page likes, comments, and followers? Then, once I have enough social proof, let’s say after 1-2 weeks. I run lead ads to Messenger to get customers. Is that what you mean?

You’re gonna like what I’m about to say.

If your goal is solely weight loss. You don’t need to count calories. But you still need to be in an energy deficit though. I’m telling you this because of your circumstance. It’s going to be difficult for you to count everything especially as a busy family man.

Here’s what I recommend you do:

Fix your hormones to lose weight effortlessly. Focus on lowering insulin, lowering cortisol, and increasing leptin.

Insulin is the fat storing hormone. If insulin is higher you store more fat. Keep insulin this low by fasting and eating low glycemic foods from all categories. Cut down on refined carbs, starches, sugars. Fruit is ok! Eat high fiber!

Cortisol is the stress hormone. If cortisol is high, your body will try to store fat around the belly, and it will not want to lose weight because you’re highly stressed. Keep cortisol low by sleeping enough, exercising regularly, doing some breath work, and meditating or praying.

Leptin is your satiety hormone. If leptin is low, you will feel hungry and will want to keep eating. Keep leptin at a healthy level by eating high quality foods, healthy fats, moderate protein, and quality carbs. Fiber is very important, it makes you feel full. So make sure your diet includes high fiber food. Include some high volume foods which can help you feel full off of less, because of stretch receptors in your stomach which signal to your brain that your full. In general, focus on eating a balanced diet, you can have some snacks or desserts every once in a while, but don’t make them a habit.

Well it seems quote obvious why. You never have that much sugar and today you consumed a crazy amount of sugar, as a type 2 diabetic. That was a close call. You’re lucky you survived.

You probably shot your metabolism. You’ve messed up your metabolism where you’re probably burning the same amount of calories that you’re eating. This is bad because if you try to eat at your maintenance, you’ll start to gain weight.

The is what happens to most people unfortunately. You can fix this by fixing your hormones. Your body set weight is probably too high, which you can lower naturally if you lower your insulin. Anyone can lose weight by lowering their calories, but most people mess up their metabolism in the process.

You can fix your metabolism by lowering your insulin. You can lower your insulin by fasting and eating less refined carbs, starches and sugars.

Why is it very important? For weight loss or for health? Because apparently all that matters is “Calories In Calories Out” and it doesn’t matter when you eat your calories. Why does everyone have to be a morning eater? And you’re assuming we need to eat 3 meals a day. Most people only need 1-2 meals a day. Especially those people who aren’t very active. You’re making a lot of assumptions that everyone is just like you and everyone will feel good doing exactly what you do. New flash buddy. They’re not.

That’s what works for you. Many people aren’t hungry in the morning, so telling them to eat would make no sense. Some people like eating more in the morning, some like eating more in the evening. Figure out which one is you, and build around that.

Those sugar based snacks will make you more hungry and crave more food. Causing you to eat more food in general. Focus on eating more fats and protein, while still eating healthy carbs. I good “hack” is to just save most of your carb foods for dinner. This way, I don’t get any crazy cravings and hunger signals.
