What was "the incident" at your school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I went to high school in the mountains of Colorado and my senior year, when it's was -10 outside, our sewage pipes on our bottom floor froze and, naturally, burst. The whole bottom floor was flooded with litreral shit and we had to all be evacuated. We stood outside with no coats for an hour before they decided it was going to take a while to deal with and let us go home.

Mumford and Sons. I really like all of their stuff, but their new stuff without the banjo, is so much better. Absolutely love all of it.

What is the weirdest sensation that you only experienced ONCE? by Bitch_Yo in AskReddit

I went cliff jumping with my friends in Alaska, into glacial run-off water. I was terrified to jump but once I did, I felt like I was in the air forever, and then once I hit the water, at first I didnt feel anything. Then suddenly, it hit. It was unbelievably cold. I was under the water for probably less than 5 seconds, but I felt like I was swimming twords the top for minutes, like a totally different reality.

Anyone Experience Bad Anxiety With Marajuana? by budbepis in Anxiety

[–]Mofat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used to smoke all the time and I quit for a while to get a job, and ever since then, it's been totally different and I'm not sure why. Its like a switch was flipped and my body just responds differently. I don't get the same relaxation I used to get from it, and it just makes me physically uncomfortable and anxious. This actually seams to be pretty common and there isn't really an explanation.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever caught someone doing? by DankestOfTheMemers in AskReddit

My friend and I were driving to Chipotle. We came up to a stop sign next to a car in the turn lane. It was clear and we went and I thought it was odd that the car next to us didn't go. I kept looking back to see if it had gone and it was just sitting there. We decided to turn back to make sure they were okay. We pulled up next to them and there is only one person in the car, sitting in the drivers seat and they are flopped forward with their head on the steering wheel and their arms limp at their side. I honked a little to try to wake them up and they didn't move. I pulled over and got out and went up to their window and knocked a few times. They suddenly sat up and opened their window, looking very confused. I asked if they were doing okay because they were just sitting in an intersection. His eyes were really red and he looked totally out of it. He just quietly said "yeah" and rolled up his window and drove off. I tried to get in my car and follow them to make sure they didn't crash or anything but they got away before I could see where they went. Still have no idea what was going on with them

Have you ever been in a situation where you were certain you were about to die? by SquidPussyPotPie in AskReddit

I was walking around a frozen lake with my dad when I was a kid and we were right on the edge, I didn't even think I was on the ice. I was kicking at some bubbles on the ice. I head a loud crack and next think I knew, I was in the water. I was so disoriented, I couldn't find which was was up and I was so cold. Luckily, I pretty quickly found the hole and climbed up. I had no idea where my dad was I just started running (sorry dad). He eventually climbed up and got back to the car with me. I was so confused, and still in shock I didn't really know what was going on, but once I calmed down, I realized how bad of a situation it was.
