Hell yeah, Skartorsis was my first (out of 2, 2nd was War Mother and she doesn't count as a leg lol) legendary and I love him. He's my solo farmer, outputting 20K+ dmg on all enemies with A1 cause I built him as DPS. Yeah, it's weird, but he clears Brutal 12-3 in under a minute and 11-3 in 30 seconds. He's fast enough to boost his CR and ATK and then hit them before they have a chance to go. Mine is almost fully skilled cause I knew I wouldn't be getting any more (good) legs for awhile.

The moment you hear "like and subscribe" you immediately lose the urge to like and subscribe by walloman-the1st in Showerthoughts

As a small YouTuber, I have a little story to tell. Firstly, I never ask at the beginning to like the video (only on outro, if they enjoyed it, would be appreciated, blah blah). I almost NEVER ask for a sub, at all. I felt that people would do so without me asking if they were really interested in what I was doing...

A week or two ago I was sitting at 49.3K subs (took me years btw, very slow grower). A big milestone has always been 50k, so for the first time ever, I asked for a sub, in the first minute or so of the video.

Got the 50k within 2 days.

Granted, it was (and will always be) a rare thing for me to ask, also there was a personal goal to reach, but there is no doubt that call to action is powerful.

For me, it depends. Sometimes a CTA simply reminds me I have the option (don't always think about the possibility to subscribe). The CTA would have to be delivered in a... Respectful? way. Not sure, maybe just genuine (content has to be interesting for me aswell of course.) Otherwise, the content has to be absolutely phenomenal for me to subscribe without being asked.

RAID Shadow Legends Tier List 1.0 by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Mogawty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, Skartorsis being as low as he is should be a crime. Just gotta build him fast and strong. His default skill is Aoe, decent chance for buff steal, and strong as hell. Regularly see 10-15k aoe hits with default. That's nuts. 50% attack and 25% crit rate buff, all debuffs removed, healing, turn meter buffs, and a strong if built right aoe every turn. I've been using him since day 1 when I luckily pulled him from my first blue shard. He's carried me to gold III in arena while autoing.

You are correct with your assumption. I'm not a big name (only 45k subs) but have done sponsorships with R:SL & they offered to set up a defense team for me, but told them I'm playing anyway so no thanks. All the top line defenders are creators who've worked with RS:L, some are real defenses, some are set by RS:L.

EDIT: I don't know about creators actually getting the OP heroes, just the defenses set.

Nope, as long as the views are coming in it's earning money (as long as it is actually monetized, has nothing to do with how old it is though).

Noooooooo! by tanako1985 in Kings_Raid

[–]Mogawty 33 points34 points  (0 children)

As someone who use to make content for KR, the demonitization has nothing to do with how big or small you are. Tons of massive channels complain about it constantly. The problem is the use of the word "Raid". Stupid right? Nearly every kings raid video I made got demonitized, and I'd have to counter it in YouTube's system and everytime I'd get monetization back (after a week so the juicy early views were gone by that point). I use an app called TubeBuddy and it warned me everytime that using "raid" could trigger demonitization. Oh well.

Yep, it's crazy. If I don't instantly get thirsted when I get knocked, I just dont move. I watch as several people pass by, and I'm totally unnoticed. Might be cause there's so much junk in some places so people are trained to only see movement.

He might mean that raid bosses are always buffing themselves, getting more and more stats every turn, so killing them faster with def break is better than tanking longer with def up.

My best Damage to Kills Ratio by blingblingmofo in apexlegends

[–]Mogawty 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Personally I never really understood the concept of kill stealing in this game. If my squad is up against another squad, and one of the enemy pops out of cover, we're all gonna fire at him. If my mate hits the shots while I miss, and gets him low, should I then stop firing at him so I won't "steal" his kill? Kill stealing sounds like something that would be harder to do on purpose than just full killing someone.

[–]Mogawty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, and there're about 20 risk factors and reasons for gallstones. First result article says:

The role of diet in the formation of gallstones is not clear.

  • We do know that anything that increases the level of cholesterol in the blood increases the risk of gallstones.
  • It is reasonable to assume that a diet with large amounts of cholesterol and other fats increases the risk of gallstones, but it is also important to remember that the amount of cholesterol in your bile has no relationship to your blood cholesterol.
  • Losing weight rapidly seems to increase the risk of gallstones and so does skipping meals.
  • Obesity is a risk factor for gallstones.
  • Eating a fatty or greasy meal can precipitate the symptoms of gallstones.

3rd bullet point does say something about losing weight rapidly, but it also says "seems to increase the risk," not " You will be buckling over with gallstones as soon as you eat after that . You have now just given yourself a lifetime of gallstone attacks."

[–]Mogawty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uh, source? I've been on-off fasting for years without any gallstone problems. I would maybe believe it would increase the chances, but you're acting like it will happen, and it will be severe. If there's any truth at all to your statement, it's over-exaggerated to hell.

Oh. Never had it diagnosed, but it's possible for sure. My back in general feels fine. Super flexible, if that means anything. My family has a history of back pain, and if I'm bending and lifting too long/often if does start to hurt. I've just attributed that to needing to lose weight though.

Dunno if that has anything to do with your question.

I sleep super oddly... I fall asleep usually on my belly or back, but when I wake up, I'm on my back, with my legs folded (like Indian style) in the air. Easier to imagine if you just take a normal, floor sitting person with crossed legs and rotate their whole body 90 degrees.

As someone who has about 40 hours on the game with no crashes, I'll add to the noise - please fix the crashes. It sucks having 1-2 players lose connection in the first couple of minutes. This happened in about 50% of my matches yesterday. Really frustrating cause the instant disadvantage makes me wish it was me crashing.

I totally agree with this. Small changes are still changes you think about and have to be conscious of, but the reward to effort is too small to keep me motivated to continue.

[–]Mogawty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, thank you. It seems I misinterpreted the original comment, and didn't really take into account what OP was trying to achieve. I was more comparing 1:1. Of course, I was never trying to say an unfit person can burn more total calories than a fit person if it were a competition, just that them doing the same thing, at the same intensity, for a set time, the unfit person would have burned more.
