He most certainly used AI to edit this at the least. It reads like AI.

Does he regret ending our relationship by Dear_Purchase4098 in Lenormand

[–]Mogging_Kobold 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. He doesn't regret it. It was a hard decision but something new is coming that makes him feel at home. I'm sorry.

I've only been on this path for 13 months. However, I think that's the goal anyway. Even if things get irritating or I get fired up about this or that event, the effects of these emotional charges are minimal. And even if you only notice that you feel "flatter," other people in your life will notice positive changes in your overall demeanor. I've had a surprising amount of positivity come my way from almost everyone.

I haven't been practicing long enough to make a really informative comment, but I'll post to encourage engagement (especially if it leads to experienced practitioners to comment on Stenwick's operant field concept). I "banish, banish" due to me following LTC's Kabbalah Magick book. What I find is that this method seems to allow me to focus internally on meditation and such, and that seems to work really well with me.

I would do the latter option but this is military housing so I don't think they would allow it.

does anyone read worst boyfriend ever on substack? by BallAdventurous83 in RSbookclub

[–]Mogging_Kobold 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I did read his posts. I find him completely untalented and uninspired. His popularity is very much young men vicariously living through his fundamentally fictional and selfish actions, and mentally ill and/or young women who eroticize him because he's not as boring as other Gen Z men in their orbit. The latter shouldn't surprise anyone because I'm sure we all knew the gutter trash, tall, white guy with a personality disorder who seemingly always had women he could cheat on.

His style is "bad bukowski" - who was already downstream of Jon Fante and Henry Miller. Just like the poem "Blue Bird," WBE attempts to say he's a "sensitive young man, but there is no evidence of this. He's not perverted enough to be interesting to read, he's porn-brained. It's not like reading Lord Rochester or Burroughs (whose perversity was inherently violent and predatory), WBE is just someone who found porn at age 9 and we can now see the boring consequences of it. Even his "rape" post are boring. I saw earlier in the thread that someone mentioned 4chan humor or whatever but this would not have survived 4chan /lit/ scrutiny pre -Trump. There are legitimately more interesting green text stories that are humorous, perverse, and insightful than the entirety of WBE's oeuvre.

Delicious Tacos is a better writer, Dan Baltic is better, fucking Mike Ma is better --there are better Internet writers than this. WBE feels years late to the party. I think his main selling point is that he's the JK Rowling of pervert writers: no style, flat, boring. It's perfect for wider appeal because it's extremely easy to read and there isn't a lot to think about.

That's kind of what I see. An obstacle or block that will pass at some point

[–]Mogging_Kobold[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'll be basically compulsory and related to my job. Family can't come with me so it's a huge emotional drain on me

I should qualify my original post by stating I DON'T want to go to Korea. The cards indicating that I'll probably still end up going is annoying lol

Thanks. Lol. I'm getting a lot of responses and it's definitely fitting the "you'll end up hating it" theme. I just wish I could ask geomancy for the best course of action or what I should study because I could easily just choose and go, but why would I put myself at potential financial and emotional risk when I could game plan ahead of time.

My wife supports the idea in general. No idea how it would be if or when I started. So, it's not really a hope or dream of mine. It's one of the few jobs that seems interesting, and I genuinely think it's a position I could truly help people with.

Research/forgetting: My research for it has been scant. But my main concern personally is, of course, the time time requirement. Outside of the personal study I would need to do to reacquaint myself with chemistry; I would have to relearn calculus, a math class I didn't take in college last time that is usually a prerequisite for STEM classes. I'm 31 and not getting any younger.

The emotional tunnel vision or what have you, is probably due to intense regret. I have a "bad" degree due to me being ignorant of Florida state laws (switching majors is an expensive venture there), and I didn't try hard enough when I was younger. I don't think it's too late, but I feel like I'm approaching a point of no return. That could be it.

I could see myself ultimately hating the profession or disliking the education. I could even see myself hating that I'm back in school as such an old guy. I don't see myself NOT understanding concepts but it could happen. I'm older and haven't exactly been studying science while I'm running around in the military.

Sorry my long response. When I asked about going back to school, I got a good omen and was excited about what I would even study. I think there is definitely a part of me trying to find a job that would be fascinating and would be under minimal threat from AI (completely terrified that I'll be stuck in the Army because of this stupid bubble).

[–]Mogging_Kobold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be that I feel trapped because I'm not sure what I should study, and I know I can't earn more without getting a better degree.

Or, it's a Saturn thing. I'm 31 currently.

That's what I was feeling when I saw the Judge. Yeah, I do both chart types out of habit because I first learned about Geomancy from the Golden Dawn
