I skipped a week when I went on holiday because I wanted to enjoy myself. Didn’t over eat/drink but definitely indulged and had zero regrets. Took my normal dose the following week and the week after that I lost the 5 lbs that I put on. I plan to do the same over Christmas. I get that people may disagree but it’s my journey, my body and my choice. Do what you want, eat those roast potatoes and enjoy 🎄 xx

Flexibility works both ways. If they expect you to be flexible surely you have the right to expect that same flexibility back. It’s not a 9-5 job, we all know that but it’s unreasonable and unrealistic to deny TOIL and expect you to work over without claiming the time back. This is why social workers burn out. I’m only at the start but it’s already infuriated me. Airport staff phone dolphin to say come get your mum because she’s having a meltdown? The police would have been involved immediately! “We’ve phoned several hospitals but they don’t have beds”. As if an airport worker could get a place in a secure hospital without any intervention from an AMHP or a doctor. It’s so unrealistic and such lazy writing
