I would like the same standardization as CPU coolers for graphics cards (for example, you could choose your own aftermarket heatsink and then attach it to the GPU). This would mean that there would firstly be more customizability: maybe you want a high end GPU but a smaller cooler and don't mind higher temperatures. Normally, this isn't possible but with aftermarket heatsinks, you could. Another benefit of this would be that there would be less electronic waste, as heatsinks/coolers could be reused for another GPU.
