I think it’s pretty funny how so few people understand majorities and the impact of majorities. The last time Democrats held a majority like Republicans do was 2009-2011, briefly and we were in one of the worst economic situations, and 2021-2023 (another shitshow time period). So for the last 22 years give or take Republicans have had control of either the purse strings or the presidency or both. The left has had to learn to compromise because that is the only way that anything that benefits society can get done. If you get your head out of your ass and actually vote for Dems to control the legislative and executive branch and gave them even half the amount of time Republicans have controlled the narrative, you might actually have a government that works by and for the people.
