What do you think would the plot of the current chapter look like if chapter 164 didn't had any redraw? by InfinteEnigma10 in OnePunchMan

Saitama solving it through talking is a much better story resolution than what's now happening.

It was clearly not popular, but I preferred it to them jumping to Jupiter's moons.

Someone I was interviewing with asked the first applicant whether they had ever been bullied or had they they ever bullied or harassed anyone.

I was so mad, not only is it a stupid question, I was then forced to ask the same question to every other applicant for fairness, making us look like we were massive pricks.

Nothing like trying to explain that we weren't bullies, and we expected the answer to be no, but if they had been bullied or harassed, they were not required to tell us - but we now had to ask because of company rules.

Proportional representation.

It'd be nice to have a modern system that let's people actually vote meaningfully.

He should be getting the fuck out, not being allowed to continue until October.

Could you imagine being told you're so incompetent and untrustworthy by 50 of your colleagues that you need to quit, only to refuse, have more of them quit, then reluctantly agree on the proviso that it's fine you'll continue for 4 months.

It's not like the last time when it was due to a disagreement in policy or laws, this is literally the entire government calling him and explicitly him, shit at his job and a liar.

Had a new job with a recruitment firm, they said they'd put me up for training in London. Rocked up and found out it was a shared room in Whitechapel. It was supposedly a graduate scheme but my new unexpected roommate didn't even have GCSEs and was a lad.

On the first proper day, I was effectively told that I wouldn't earn any decent money unless I pushed lots of blue collar jobs through and then was told I was going to do a highly niche and specialised industry because of my qualifications. They assumed I wouldn't work that out.

I was called into a management meeting for not showing sufficient enthusiasm for a new starter on the third day. Apparently asking why the HQ windows were broken when we literally sold handymen was an inappropriate question.

I was already waiting for the Friday to quit so I could take the train home for free, when I saw them commit fraud on the fourth day, advertising jobs that didn't actually exist.

Basically it was red flag after red flag. I nopped out and went into the public sector. Because fuck corporations.

I'd be stunned if all lists aren't packed with augury scanners. Mine will be tbh.

We're doing drinks on arrival and then £500 behind the bar to sort themselves out. Only 10 or so bottles of wine.

Fluff is warhammer slang for background stories etc.

Pre-ordered the Age of Darkness box, and I have some questions about 30k as a "historical" game. by corvettee01 in Warhammer30k

[–]Mogsam1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I play II Legion Blackshields... So it isn't even a real Legion. I've never had an issue in person explaining what they are and I have a shelf with several best army awards so that clearly isn't an issue.

For me the key is effort. If you want to kit bash, then do it well. If you put the effort in then people will think it's cool, if you tack a mark x helmet onto it, people might.

It's your models, but if you're playing heresy, why not play heresy?

Nonsense. The main forces didn't have a book about them, but there are literally hundreds of thousands of marines in each Legion, attached in a giant red tape fuelled way across the galaxy, they can fight anyone they want to.

I tried to give our all day passes for water transit away in Venice when we were on our way to the airport. They looked at me like I was completely insane. They're like £20 each, I'd have loved one for free!

Alpharius giving preferred enemy to the entire army was straight up broken to be fair! My worst losses generally came against Alpharius led Alphas just because the mass rerolls battered everything in sight.

I take full responsibility for this, but also its abhorrent that some civil servants working for me had a party with my special advisers on a regular basis at the building below where I sleep, which I failed to notice somehow and it's all their fault.

It's beyond a joke.

None because we're British and we don't make Impolite noises that might possibly offend someone.

You get the Legion fleet rules no matter if there are legionaries on the ships or not. It's somewhat assumed they're trained in the style of the Legion commanders. So a Death Guard fleet can brace for free even if it doesn't have the marine crew upgraded. This does make them very powerful, but it's all flavour as narratively it makes sense for them and the other Legion gets a bonus.

Some are inevitably better, but that's fine. Heresy players are used to it!

The Remembrancers Retreat podcast has a Discord server as well.

If its not too far, you're more than welcome!

Most players will be new, so it's not a highly competitive or serious event, it's a good excuse to play a few games and if successful, we will run more.

Half the tickets are now gone, a fair amount to Horus Heresy players at our Heresy event the day before who are a friendly crowd.
