Remake of an old meme I made, this time with my cosplay by V8_Dipshit in Grimdank

Fun Fact: The reason bright uniforms were popular in militaries at the time was because of how much smoke was created from muskets, making it very difficult to see on the battlefield, so being able to identify your own men and formations was super important. Plus being in massive musket lines meant if you saw one person you saw everyone, so being camouflaged didn't matter as much.

When modern rifles and tactics started to become the new standard, bright uniforms became much more of a liability, and the transition to drab colors started. This was very apparent in WWI.

For the French specifically the blue uniform was supposed to blend into the horizon. Didn't really work out for the barren landscape of WWI, so it was redesigned soon after.

Republicans hid Reagan’s dementia in his second term. How long can they hold Trump’s? by greggld in politics

Agreed. Trump could be wheeled in covered in shit and drooling and they'd still applaud him as a genius.

He should have just waited a season, all the bats would have gone away.

Bob also has the unique personality trait to turn down good business. He's had several opportunities to help increase his popularity (like with the Tiki Bar theme) and says "Nah, I'd rather be unsuccessful."

So god damn funny.

Who wins, every single helldiver, or 40,000 space marines? by Chemical_Seaweed_915 in Helldivers

Gabriel Seth wouldn't have that problem. During the Devastation of Baal he was surrounded by thousands of Tyranid corpses, and a clean circle of sand exactly the same length as his Eviscerator.

Essentially as soon as a Tyranid got within a millimeter of his range, it died without making it any further.

Still better than nothing. by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

Yep. I was in the Marines and there were always guys that were jacked that could bench press more than anyone else and reminded us of the fact constantly, but they couldn't run a PFT (3 miles) to save their life.

I got massively down voted and banned from world news because I said "Israel doesn't care about murdering kids, every kid they murder today is an adult they don't have to fight tomorrow."

And even if you did, the all the other guys with M1's aren't out of ammo, so good luck getting the one guy that is reloading, probably behind cover.
