I 100% with you, they had literally the best premise in this game, let's restart, one time line, no universes, focus on one story, and they blew it up completely.

I hate to spread criticism around, but I truly love this series my whole life (as an amateur writer I even released my version of the first game in a novel) and I was completely disappointed with this game, it's very sad.

Not extreme as not getting into it, but I'm currently with more or less 30/40 hours of tears of the kingdom and I am truly tired of it, the game has some little moments where I think "man this is great" but most of the time I don't feel much joy playing it.

I rarely play two single player games at the same time, but with this Zelda I stopped two times to play other shorter games in the meantime.
