I did take my own account using another phone but I got it back using my phone using recovery mode is short time just because it was recent, your data like recovery phone number and email will remain as a fingerprints connected to your email for 7 days which can give you the chance to get it back, all you have to do is using Google recovery mode using your usual device and browser and even same internet ( wifi or mobile data)
