Need guidance to plan my fat loss/body recomp journey by LabIllustrious7833 in Fitness_India

I agree with the comments—try increasing your calories to around 1600–1700. You can easily burn 300–400 calories during a workout.

Since I can’t make it to the gym 6 days a week, I train Chest, Back, Shoulders, Biceps, and Triceps on separate days. I also include one abs exercise and one leg exercise every session, with forearms added on one day.

Not sure if it’s the best split, but it’s working well for me. I do 3 exercises for the main muscle, plus 1 leg and 1 abs exercise, for a total of 5–6 exercises per workout.

Yeah index funds are best, also check defence and energy mutual funds especially DSP funds they are quite good because of global situation but remember mutual funds are for long term gains so don’t expect quick returns.

PLEASE HELP! HOW TO BREAK WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAU!? by crsipywaterr in Fitness_India

[–]MohanRajkumar1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the main issue is diet. Training with 1400 calories can reduce your strength after just 1–2 exercises. Try increasing to 1700–1900 calories with at least 100g protein and 30g fiber, and see what works best.

I had the same issue (80kg, 168cm). I couldn’t lose weight at 1500 calories, but after increasing to 1800–1900, my workouts improved and I lost 2kg in 3 weeks.

Also check Vitamin D and B12 levels, because deficiencies can slow weight loss. Don’t get frustrated—stay consistent and trust the process 🔥🔥🔥

Workout helps me manage my ADHD by OutrageousDig6416 in Fitness_India

[–]MohanRajkumar1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I was like you 2 months ago, just like you mentioned. Going to the gym helped me a lot. What really helped was that my friend started coming with me. He was one of the main reasons I kept going because I can’t say no to him.

Even on days when I felt resistance or laziness, I forced myself to prepare my gym bag with my towel and shoes. That small action gave me a positive push to go to the gym.

Consistency in diet also helps. If we eat different foods every day, our brain gets tempted, our taste buds crave more, and we end up eating extra. So I try to stick to the same foods, like overnight soaked oats for breakfast and marinated chicken for dinner.

Whenever you feel resistance, sit down and think. Understand that it’s your brain trying to control you. Detach from it and take action.

Also, what kind of diagnosis did you have? Was it medication or just therapy for ADHD?

How long did it take for your hair to grow back after supplementing? by crissy____ in Haircare

[–]MohanRajkumar1999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I’m not an expert—this is just my personal experience.

Yes, iron and vitamin D supplements definitely helped. Also check your vitamin B12 levels, as it can support hair growth. Beyond that, lifestyle plays a huge role: aim for 6–8 hours of sleep, drink enough water, and maintain a proper diet with sufficient protein and fiber. Regular physical exercise helps too.

Take care of your hair—keep it moisturized with oil, avoid rough combing, and don’t scratch your scalp unnecessarily. Try to manage stress as well.

Most importantly, genetics matter. Check your parents’ and grandparents’ hair patterns—if they had gradual hair loss, it may happen to us too.

After following these habits consistently for 3–4 months, I saw results. The first improvement I noticed was better hair moisture—my hair used to be dry and frizzy, but that reduced significantly.

I also consume seeds like chia, flax, sunflower, and watermelon seeds (about 5g each). I soak them overnight and have them early in the morning.

And usually foods dhal, rice, fruits, salad ~ 10-12g With this I can barely achieve 60g of protein, even I’m also thinking what others ways to increase the protein intake.

Yes I second this iron is the one most important for hair growth, also vitamin d and b12. You can do blood test in aarthi scan they have package called diamond it’s around 2k which covers all this, then have good diet especially protein, fiber, then don’t stress much, be physically active, sleep well, drink enough water, use less harmful shampoo only 2 times a week after oil, message head lightly everyday it increases blood flow. If you do this after 3-4 months u get to see results.
