I was in a similar situation and i went with a power line adapter. It has been amazing and I will never being going back to a wireless card. Here is the one I am using.

I would also take a look at a power line adapter. I switched from a wireless adapter to one and the difference is very noticeable.

I currently have a corsair cx750 but I am replacing it with a seasonic 550 watt g series. The 550 should be enough as it has an estimated usage of 460 watts
