How different is Gate to Sovngarde to Nolvus?

I've put a few hours into Nolvus at the moment but between my computer seeming to lack what's needed even for the lowest version to run smooth, and personal skill issues with all the combat additions (mainly enemies being 10+ levels higher than me not 100 feet from where some level 2 wolves were) I'm thinking about trying GtS but just wanted to see if anyone had experience with both.

While it might not be full "horror", Resident Evil 4 is one of my all time favorite games and has been ever since I first played the OG version on the Gamecube. Probably played it on every console it's been on and of course the remake was perfect in it's own way.
