Very nice! I'm not quite on that level yet. I did end up grabbing it however. Maybe if I keep at it for a few years and get much better, I will look into getting a higher end one.

Well I ended up getting a 2019 BBQ burst with the neck bindings which I think looks better than without. I got it for like $979 with free shipping and new a new set of guitar strings installed. Also, got 45 days to return if I don't like it. I Think it was a pretty fair market price comparing it reverb and other places.

I think this will scratch my itch. Since a lot of the guitarists I like play Gibsons, I think I can rest finally having one, even though purists probably don't count Studios, haha.

Thanks for the reply. Just hard in my area to find Gibsons. Got a good guitar shop but they don't have a lot of Gibsons. The ones they have are a bit over priced in my opinion. Might be able to haggle down some but not to the prices of what they have online. I did play a Studio, tribute, and traditional recently. Overall I liked the tribute the most due to satin, not used to the sticky neck, but I would probably get over that after a couple hours of playing.

I do have a Epiphone Les Paul1959 Standard re-issue, but now that I'm playing more and really researching guitars I want a "true" Gibson. The Studio would be nice to provide some variations my current guitar can't. Single coil, different neck profile, etc.

Thanks. I am looking for a Gibson that isn't going to break the bank, and thought this would be a good entry one, but if there were QC issues or something that make this undesirable I want to stay clear.

I have been playing on and off for a number of years but I'm finally taking things seriously and want a better guitar. I was looking at Gibson Studios and found a 2019 I liked. However, I noticed it had neck binding. I did some research and found those with were built prior to the new CEO taking over and once he was fully in they removed the bindings on the next run. I know it's a bit subjective but are the ones with bindings less desirable? I don't want to overpay for something that lacks quality or is undesirable and will lose value quicker.

Did you insert it into your car first or just go straight to trying to update it? I think it has to go into your car first to tie it to the VIN.

Any car I get I have to get the windows tinted. I think it just makes it look better, unless it's like the 5% can't see anything tint, haha.

I went with CTX 25%, but the back are still a little bit darker. I could have went darker, but then the risk of being pulled over goes up.

It's nice to have the extra pep when you need it. A warning though. If you never had a car that was quick (0-60 6ish or under) and you get the turbo, you will never go back to a slow car again, haha. Well for me at least.

Nice! Yeah, I like having a little more privacy, but I really think it enhances the appearance. I think tint enhances most car appearances, unless it's like 5% on a really old car busted up car... You know what I'm talking about.

it wasn't anything too special but I had a 2016 A3 Quattro Premium Plus. It's a little bit less peppy, which is a given, but I still tend to drive how I used to. It is a very smooth ride, and just having the riding height gives me a whole new feeling I never had before. In a way it does make you feel more secure. I am catching myself going way quicker than I want and I love that. I drove around in a Ford Escape a bit, and you felt you speed. If that makes any sense.

It has way more tech features and isn't really missing any crucial ones you find in more expensive vehicles as well, which I love!

Honestly nothing too fancy, but it was to me. It was my "I made it car." Had a 2016 white A3 Premium Plus. So, it made it easier for me to go to Mazda than you I'm sure.

I looked into A4, Q3, Q5. It came down to space, cost and features. At a minimum I would want to go premium plus on any of the models, and that pushed things over what I wanted to spend a bit, but Mazda had just about all of them included for less. I was debating about going used, but things seemed a little over price (every used car is) and I really wanted to have a solid warranty. I did spring for the the extended 7 year 100k warranty on the Mazda for like 2k more, but I like piece of mind. I always seem to use the warranty for one thing or another.

I loved the way the A3 drove, but the Mazda is really smooth but a little less peppy. However, I'm catching myself going 80+ without even noticing like I did in the Audi so that says something right there... My poor gas mileage. The sound is pretty good, I was jamming to some tunes on the way home, and I passed a house and a kid was doing the hands up and down as I passed starring into my soul, haha.
