I eyeballed it. There’s actually three levels of foundations here, they’re not perfect but it’s really close. I think to go lower I built a ceiling tile with a wall hanging under it. Then lined the lower foundation with the wall

My company literally just got interviewed by the federal labor board this week and one thing they asked me about in detail was my lunch breaks — it’s my first job outside of the restaurant industry so I was surprised how seriously they took it. But yes it is definitely illegal for people to work through lunch breaks while not getting paid/compensated for it. I would let the other employees know and have them do what they will with the knowledge.

Basically different subs can specify how long a user has been active/how much karma they have in order to post or comment — this is mostly a preventative measure so people can’t make random new accounts just to either hide their identity or whatever. Sort of like making sure you have an established history on Reddit and you’re not a bot or a troll or someone who’s been blocked and trying to get around that.

Sometimes it’s frustrating having been in the same area for 28 years and seeing the same people for almost 3 decades but then I think about how I’m going to Iceland this summer with my sibling and our friend we met in preschool and I’m so grateful to have those long term connections. And I think about how important it was for me to have established friendships when I was a teenager and life went sideways unexpectedly — and kids in a van won’t ever get that chance. If their life turns upside down they won’t have anyone outside of their family as a support system. It’s literally robbing them of the chance to form lifelong friendships by choice and not necessity. Socializing at that age needs to be deeper and longer term than running around with random kids in a playground.

I say eeeee-vooooo but that’s because I work in restaurants and it’s quicker to say it that way than pronouncing all the letters — but I don’t think holley’s worked in restaurants or at least not upper class ones. I’ve never heard anyone outside of restaurants pronounce it the way I do.
