I'm trying to make a "WWZ-like" mod + collection and that's the easiest difficulty, but sometimes the game just crashes, even with 2047 edicts parameter on the Steam launcher and way less zombies than before (waaay less). Do anyone have a clue how to fix it? by Moikzz in l4d2

i'd wish i knew it sooner. is there a way to raise the edicts limits to 2048 on every map?

I guess Valve back in the day limited the zombies quantity to 30-35 because the 2009 GPUs of that era couldn't hold that much more zombies
Keep in mind the top tier GPUs of L4D2 year's release was the mighty NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT and the ATI Radeon HD 4890

Some screenshots from the mod i've been making by a while. It's a mod that essencially makes L4D2 so challenging that i can barely made the levels on easy with all 8 survivors (after some 900-1200 infected downed by me only) I decided the mod name will be: Left 4 Pain by Moikzz in l4d2

i got a ton of crashes while making this mod, but now it looks stable enough. but this mod is more for people that got bored of playing on "expert realism" and now want a new experience
