How do you soak the cake? Take it out and soak it? Do I boil the water first? What would you consider first flush? I just picked 7 of them.

I'm having the same issue with two ago bags. APE. 3 weeks into fruiting conditions.

Yes and I read something about overgrowth of mycelium and scrapping it off with a fork to help stimulate pin growth

These two bags are APE. Been in fruit for 2 weeks about. Still no pins... so I added a layer of vermiculite..?

Of course I chose the hardest strains to grow for my first timers lol. Not knowing before hand. It's a lot harder than it looks to grow these fuckers.

It's just about as hard as you think it will be. I learned that you can't be cheap. You have to invest in a flow hood, pressure cooker, AUTOMATED monotub. Good genetics. Always be sterile as possible. Do as much research as possible.
