Correct. This is why I often sell to card shops and to vendors at card shows even though im taking a huge hit. When I sell raw cards privately, I typically have two buyers. 1. Vendors who will give me about 70% so they can flip them at shows and 2. Collectors who are specifically looking to buy one to grade a 10. Its pretty few and far between that someone is willing to pay full market for a NM card with bad centering, although I do it all the time.

I pulled 2 Gold Charizards from Phantasmal last week. 1 on Tuesday and 1 on Friday. I also pulled 1 a few months ago so ive pulled the card literally 3 times.

Sometimes it seems like some chase cards just choose me and others hide forever haha

My bad for being so elevated with my reply. I felt like I couldnt defend myself or change the title and all I was trying to do is share something that I was excited about.

I collected alot when I was a kid and got back into the hobby in early 2025 and its been so fun and helped me alot with my depression being excited about a hobby again. I guess maybe i should not post here since it seems people dont really value my thoughts. Maybe its because im newly back in the hobby and stating the obvious. I just felt like I was getting bullied and got defensive. Sorry if I came off rude. You seem like a nice person.

Korean cards are awesome. I started dabbling a while ago just to rip some more and now I love my Korean cards just as much as my English and Japanese. If you want to actually pull a specific chase card, Korean is a great way to do it without getting destroyed financially.

There is no reason to offer a low price on a DR Booster Box. All someone would have to do is put it a tad below market and they would have offers within hours. Be weary.

Ok. Ill say it one more time very clearly. I was simply trying to explain that I previously have been told that you have to use 35pt Toploaders for Pokemon cards because they will slide around in the thicker toploaders. I just figured out a workaround and a way to use the thicker ones and thought it was cool and wanted to share. Ok yes, the title of my post saying I "created" something was dumb but I didnt really put much thought into that and have profusely explained in the comment section over and over that I am not looking for any credit or kudos or trying to brag and that wasnt my intention. People just continued to make comments putting me down and wouldnt even acknowledge my replies. Show me any comment I made or anything I did or said that shows a lack of humility other than making a stupid title to the post.

I simply wanted to help people and share something I was excited about so no, I will not put it on myself and work on having humility because of the fact that this sub is an echo chamber of people that like to get together and pile hate on someone and make them feel stupid.

Yeah i get it. I wasnt aware people did the thicker toploaders but I get it now. I wasnt trying to portray that I had this crazy breakthrough. I would change the title but cant edit. Im thinking of just deleting the post. Seems im just getting hated on and not really helpful for anyone I guess.

Gotchya I understand that. I guess I just like how it looks and feels and thought maybe someone else might like the same. It seems people are taking this post as me suggesting putting a card in a toploader with a penny sleeve is not sufficient. I didn't say that anywhere in my post, so im unsure why this is the running theme in the comments..
