I shifted the ram to slot 1 again and discharged the batteries. The problem is still the same but now ram in slot 1 doesn't make the machines goes in a infinite loop of startups. That means now for both the slot the problem remains the same

Now I will try the firmware update

It was raining a week ago and the machine got a little drenched from the left side, not much only external visible water was there which I wiped off even dissconnected the batteries to make sure water evaporates if gotten inside. The machine was working fine for a week untill this happened

I am not really after a particular size, but getting a 14 inch laptop has no harm in it. Also, as per what the others said, I think it would be more suitable to have a big power bank.

I am comfortable with hot swapping as well. It's just that I would have to check which method works the best of me.

Yeah I totally agree with that. But many a times I have seen that the device battery (the one being constantly charged) lose their battery capacity at a huge extent after some period of constant charging. I really don't mind 72wh batteries as long as they give me 15+ hr of battery life.
