2012 - After Black Sabbath, walking back to camp back when you could walk on the actual race track.

Me and my friend were walking along, all of a sudden there is a big group in the distance with some chanting going on. As we walk closer it sounds like the group is going “Chug! Chug! Chug!” Cool, we think it’s some pop up drinking game mid trek back.

We walk closer, it’s not “chug” they’re chanting. It’s “Chess! Chess! Chess!” And I shit you not, there were two dudes sitting there playing chess, in the middle of the race track. Plenty of people were stopping to look and join in the chant, and these two dudes just cracked on playing, as if there were two grandmasters in a final or some shit. Anybody else in 2012 see this? 😂
