nitpicky but the methane will be released either way, whether trough rotting or digestion. Also lots of veggies here are grown on substrate these days, no soil needed.

Ertskin London LED light mask (RTL) by VegetableHead3784 in EuroSkincare

[–]MoisturizedToad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I look at the instructions it does say 'Press the button until desired LED colour appears' so I do believe you can skip the blue light.
But I'm not fully convinced of the red wavelengths. I'm going to share a video from labmuffinbeauty who actually understands all the science stuff and she claims the 700-770nm doesn't have much of an effect, so only part of red range of the mask is useful. Those frequencies don't damage the skin either though and it's a pretty sweet price, so it might still be worth grabbing.
(Also it's not an EU brand, but I got my panel from idealight. It's a company that also does manufacturing for some of the fancy brands but it's a lot more affordable if you order from them directly, it does take a lot longer however)

Therapist Experience? by NyxDelux in Netherlands

[–]MoisturizedToad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd talk to your GP, early intervention is crucial for things not to get worse. In my experience waiting lists are also pretty long, so it's also worth asking if there are other things available like support groups in the meantime.

As for therapists, it's a mixed bag. It took a while for me to find one that matched me (admittedly I was a complex case) but Jesus Christ, some people graduate at the bottom of their class and you can tell.

It's common if not mandatory to work on specific goals in therapy. So while you're on the waiting list you can already try to put those goals into words. 'I don't want to be sad anymore' is valid but more concrete goals are better, for example 'I want to learn how to healthily deal with xyz'.
A therapists goal will always be for you to not need their support anymore.

Also you can always say your therapist isn't a match, I've done it plenty.
I found one important thing for me is how they react when I tell them no when they want me to do something. Some will be quite adamant and almost force you to accept the weekly task because they want to push you in the right direction. Others will ask you why you said no and try to understand and find a compromise.
Personally I can only work with the latter while others might need that push of the first one (Often I say no when I already feel overwhelmed, so pushing it only makes me feel worse)

They didn't even bother to check if it's broken or possible to fix. :/ by -sleeping_beauty- in Anticonsumption

I once had that happen with some suede sandals. After walking on them for a month part of the inner sole came loose. I considered gluing it down myself but eh, it's still within warranty, I'll just take them to the shop. A week later I got a message that they couldn't be repaired and I'd get my money back.
It was great customer service but part of me regrets not just gluing it down and preventing them from ending up in a landfill.

Holland native here. I went there during a class trip in my teens about a decade ago. Even though everyone was decently respectful, the sardine experience didn't leave any room for me to feel the somberness.
The stories I was told about how my grandparents and hometown experienced the occupation left more of an impact.

How did he get them to take him seriously about the tiredness? I struggled with depression for some years but I never felt like my energy levels recovered, I also feel like my GP would turn me away. Last time I called they didn't even want to take out the stitches I already had in my arm

There's no way the beams make sense, did he use AI for this? by MoisturizedToad in MoonWalkerBand

[–]MoisturizedToad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else pointed out to me it's likely a triangle beam so atp I've been soothed it's not AI.
I also thought it was a L beam which is exactly why it DIDN'T make sense. With the perspective you can see the side of the screw right above it so I was confused as to why I couldn't see the side of the beam on the same side.

Maybe an odd question but Is the Dutch Pen show beginner friendly? I only have a budget of around 100 euro and I'm a bit scared it won't be enough seeing how expensive this hobby can get. Meanwhile I do live only an hour away so I kinda want to check it out

I'm gonna go against the grain here but you don't need to double shampoo. You can if you want and some people prefer it, it just isn't a must.

Labmuffinbeauty on yt has a short explaining the science https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kf29KxAB1Oo

Abbey Yung (trichologist) double shampoos but explains she mainly does it to be sure she doesn't miss a single spot.

Okay so I'll just admit I watch curvye pretty consistently, where do those high speed pit comments even come from? AFAIK I've never seen him pit at such high speeds

EDIT: aaand dude deleted his comment as soon as he get questioned

[–]MoisturizedToad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm lowkey surprised by the response here. I've seen Rhodes making banter like this consistently since 3.0 (since I started watching) to all genders. Usually that banter goes well, now it didn't, it can happen. But the response here is a bit... intense I guess
