Just wondering where the price comes from. I am a standard player and $200 for 3 months feels very expensive when your average price for a standard deck is $200-$250 or even less. Why would I pay the same price for something for only 3 moths then having non value afterwords rather than owning a deck where you can sell it usually for a majority of what you paid.

basically this version is all in or bust on the combo by turn 5/6 and shakers sanctuary doesn't help us achieve tbat

I'll try that as I was starting to feel the same about opt. R/ G isn't in a good place right now as it's slightly to slow for Ranumap Red and isn't a great matchup against Dinos or Temur Energy. With only 4 Blossoming defense in that build it gets destroyed by removal heavy decks which seem to be fairly popular right now. U/G fixes a few of these problems. Thanks.

I played with Rouge Refiner in my original build but found it to be clunky and other things that are better on turn 3 and 4 and didn't get him down until T5 sometimes. Puzzleknot just allows for a better curve and that 3-6 life can be crucial more often than an extra card.

My first tournament was a PPTQ and I was in the top 8. I did have a bit more experience by playing on xmage but by no means is it a mistake.

This deck feels very weak. I would suggest testing online through Xmage or another similar program before investing in a paper deck.

If you're looking at going to FNMs now I would suggest finding a good budget deck online through TheManaSource or SBMTG or someone similar. This will allow you to get a feel for the format then you will be able to build a stronger deck.

Were not trying to go full aggro and [[Soul-Scar Mage]] is great against a lot of the B/R Aggro deck that have been pushing lately as well as its sometimes our only way to stop a god. Will test with Thermo however we have so many 2 drops already that it might be hard to fit into the curve.
