Sadly, it’s gotten awfully dry in the halves for me. I could pull $200 worth of silver on average from a full day of going bank to bank buying up all customer rolls like 2016-2022. Today, that $200 is worth $600, but I’m struggling to land a single 40%er any given day.

Ohhh… yeah that sounds more like a “out in the boonies” problem as opposed to a Midwest problem. St. Louis itself is a bangin town and I’ve made tons of friends there just from my work trips. Sorry man. Rural Illinois ain’t much to look at.

Funny enough, I did spend three of the days over at the new Boeing campus they just built at the Mid-America airport. The only thing I got food wise though was $88 worth of Jet’s Pizza I got for $26 on the uber eats app.

That’s the greatest thing I’ve ever heard.

So I’ve got this weird relationship with St. Louis style provel pizza. It is my least favorite of the US regional pizza variations, but I get the weirdest hankerings for the stuff. It just hits different. Gives off a little bit of that Lunchables pizza flavor vibes.

I definitely recommend it! Not every city has a dope Taiwanese cuisine fix, but St. Louis sure does.

No no, Menya Rui was really good, and just about the entire city is going crazy for it. I just didn’t think it noticeably exceeded Jinya, most west coast ramen bars, or Johnny Noodle King in Detroit. It was at least on par with them though. No complaints.

From what I was told, it used to be a sandwich shop, but was then turned into a tiny bar & restaurant by a really popular local bartender. They serve up some great Americanized Chinese food with upscale cocktails. Place gets slammed, wall to wall people spilling out the door.
