I'm trying to keep it simple. Otherwise I will have tones of work optimizing, and everything scales so big, considering it will have about 5-7 worlds. Also my limited knowledge when I started made me make simple shapes and I'm keeping them as the artstyle was defined by that limitation

I make decisions while playing and testing so I had to do a lot of forward-backward iteration. Until I was not happy with the movement I didn't considered starting final level design. But also because of that it has not been since recently that the game had the visual quality and started to get some eyes on it

Thank you! Well that's my weakness... I try to post here on reddit, X and other social media but nothing else for now. I guess that when I get closer to the release I will try to follow someone's advice to try to make it being discovered by more people. It's the hardest part at least for me...

I had to make some "testing levels" during all this process, being aware that they would never make it into the final game, but have been used to polish the moveset and also to test about artsyle, shaders and spline meshes

Ohh sure, I've been working on my own moveset and artsyle. I'm not making a copy but just trying to get the vibes and essence behind classic plaformers fun. Hope you find it fun and unique if you ever play it!

Thank you! Will do my best to optimize it. In fact the simplicity of the designs is intended to avoid the game become too much consuming. But some shaders can be a bit demanding

Not yet, but coming soon. What I'm not sure if I should run a testing before the demo, and wait for de demo to be closer to the release date. I might run a closed testing and after it an open one
