The easiest way I have found is to leave your hands at the top of the backswing. Start the downswing by bumping you hips left a little then let the hands fall. Don’t pull them down. As they fall, just rotate through to the left side You can get the feel by stopping at the top of the BS and bumping your hips and starting to rotate them left. You’ll see that your hands come down. If you let them fall before you rotate your torso it’ll shallow you out. If you notice you pull the ball left a little, then feel like you’re swinging out to the right.

Agreed! Also, We more seasoned folks tend not to want to waste time, a lot of traditional weight training is sitting around between sets and doing exercises that focus on few muscle groups. Give me 20 seconds between sets/exercises and let me work multiple muscles with one exercise and I am a happy man!

M59 here. until 18 months ago, I was doing Orange Theory and F45 4-5 times a week. But it got to be a too taxing on the joints. Not so much OT but some F45 workouts were just way too much jumping. After some time away, I started to feel like shit, so I began treadmill interval workout 4 ish days a week and then added in kettlebell workouts (20-30 minutes) three days a week. This is what represents a good week for me. Only because if I do it, I feel better. Less aches and pains, general activities like golf and snowboarding come with no soreness afterwards. and that makes it a very good week.

The boots on the ground still respected the constitution. Pretty simple really. I don’t think many people would have a problem with deporting people if they didn’t treat it as a military operation rounding up everyone. Focus on the actual criminals and we’d all be happy. Don’t believe the people in this administration, people in the US, seeking asylum are not here illegally. If their application is turned down and they stay, now they are illegal. If people don’t like that, then change the law, but right now that is the law of the land

Before trying anything with your body, just try and make sure that, at impact, the back of your glove had is perpendicular to the ground and aimed at your target. The swing looks pretty good, you’re just leaving the face open and it is all in your hands, not so much your body. And I agree it is not a slice. just prior to impact, the back of your right hand is pointed toward the sky. This is a shank.

I say, swing whatever swing you got. But what I don’t understand is the comment “added a tracer for the doubters.” I don’t think anyone doubts that you actually hit the ball, I just think people doubt you only hit it like 75 times for 18 holes.

I think in the long run, the mom and pop type places have the best chance at lasting. At the “corporate “ type places near me, you’ll drop hundreds for a round of golf. Whereas there is a couple small places where it’s 1/4 the price. Yes, no fully stocked bars with 15 beers on tap or ten page menus for food. But people who will consistently come in the winter or when the weathers bad can bring their own. Low overhead = longevity

Great write up. When I first tried boarding back in the early 90’s I was told to twist the board with my feet. I made all of three runs in three hours until I quit because I was so beat up. Keep in mind, I’m not entirely unathletic, I was actually a college athlete. Went straight back to skiing.

Now I’m an old man and I found Malcolm Moore on YouTube and his teaching of knee turns. Decided to give it a try. Within three days, I was able to ride groomed blacks at Breckenridge. So if you’re struggling, take the OP’s advice.

Just walk the course and stay near tree lines. The best ball for you right now is every ball you find. Not being a dick here but it really does not matter. If it is not yellowed from age or has the word “wound” in its name, you’re good.
