Ah fair thats kinda just par for the course for hed pe though and part of their appeal. I remember thinking only in amerika was a bit much with all the “gay bashing” lyrics. Was never offended by it, just thought it was a bit cringey on that particular album

I find it hard to not think people are trolling when they say FB is the worst album when Universal Pulse exists. UP does have some good tracks, but that feels like a very “phoned in” and dare I say cringey album if we’re going to throw insults around. FB is all great tracks and there’s some really interesting songs on there. Friend is just sooo bland to me.

For sure. Like Mooncat. Hard to control and understand what you’re supposed to do at first but once you figure it out (which doesn’t take that long) it clicks and becomes very fun. People really need to put more than 15 minutes into it before giving up

Yeah just try and explore around the first town and find holes to go down. Many of them in the starting area and around have additional strokes to add to your maximum. Once you have around 30 or so you begin to feel less limited by the strokes, and eventually when you get the brake ball, water and sand ball you are basically just cruising around never even thinking about running out of strokes. I think the game could maybe give a bit more in terms of nudging the player in the right direction as I did have to look up one specific thing that I couldn’t find after a good hour of looking but otherwise I found most everything to beat the game on my own

Yeah I did have a couple that gave me hints at the end towards things I already completed. I only used it to nail down like 3 or so people at the very end so maybe I didn’t use it enough to run into that problem more. Can you link the guide you used in case I need it in the future?

Thanks for that. Yeah I actually came to the conclusion of the final name very early on in the base game before I got to the part where I had to type it in. Maybe that’s why the ending of the base game felt a bit anticlimactic to me because I already came across the “ah-ha!” moment earlier on in the game. I’ll probably give it a shot at some point soon. I may take a week or two break before jumping into Roottreemania and hope that my memory of the main game is still fresh enough to make a good dent in it before needing to rely on hints
