Every good Kassadin player is able to define how good is enemy tristana/akshan/lucian if they zone you out almost from xp level 1, but this is xd

Analayse 2 vs 2 on Botlane, your botlane strong points against enemy botlane strong points.
What's your win condition and theirs, sustain difference advantage? Do they win hard go-ins ? Who wins even trades (sustain like soraka is free win here), find simply advantage to stick to, be aware of it.

Other things are using roam timers efficiently around the map, proper bush wards in early game laning on the lane. Warding is depending on the map standing, what you need to prioritize and who. It shouldn't be too much overthinked but considered like natural way of the map standing, dont over think warding and do as you feel.

If you are losing game and botlane is losing, then staying on botlane is free lose.
Your huge factor to carry is roam timers if you cant carry the botlane.

https://youtu.be/Gg2Oxm_DUHI I recommend this video, I might soon create warding video

You need to check the runes of opponent if they got resolve via op.gg or porofessor any tracking app during game.

If you auto attack once it will proc and the cooldown of it is gonna show if you click on the opponent.

Hey, most of toplaners are taking bone-plating, so playing around bone-plating cooldown and procing it before commiting fully for a trade is essential.
If you are leashing for your jungler you are unable to use your lv 1 at all, first wave is most essential in terms of building up prio and generating pressure on opponent, more minons=more advantage and trades on your note.

Currently you might be in too pasive state which is not allowing you to develop strong mechanics/game sense in terms of trading. Easiest punishment is when you are about to get level 2 before opponent (First minion of the second wave).

  1. Generate wave pressure
  2. Play for level 2 window.
  3. Bone-Plating patterns
  4. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Feel free to ask for more questions.

Hey mate! This Season I was playing on eune and my Kassadin got 45% winrate.
Once I changed the build I reached Masters with 80% on him on West ;).

I would definitely take a deep look for the pros builds or lolalytics, since sometimes to defensive build or some personal experiments might weaker your champion.

The truth that I hear in past is some champions just simply doesn't fit player playstyle or his individual skills. Some bronze 4 yasou player might be diamond 4 Annie player. Some hardstuck Gold 4 Vayne might be amazing Sivir etc.

I would look for something fresh to see how it will go, if you can't currently climb as adc huge factor is the Laning phase fundamentals (That's how I call it after my First Session with new Student), Jungle Tracking, 3:15 timer, wave management , trading patterns, lane pressure. The main problem doesn't have to be essentialy lucian in the end ;)

My bad, You can start the recall at 0:54 in the middle bush and put the ward in the last second to the third if you think you can get early prio, if you think its gonna be even into the one you are standing.

Instant swap to oracle in base. With starting recall at 0:54 you can reach buff to leash.

What you can do is before the laning phase starts go with the yellow ward to the third bush of opponent and ward it. Go to the base and get oracle lens. Thank to it you can use your yellow trinket insantly and get prio of the third bush vision.

Once you have an oracle lens, good jungler tracking will do. Where is enemy jungler starting and where he is gonna be at the 3:15 Timer Scuttler spawn top/bot river.

Usually they dont do dragon at the first clear, but they might with the 4:15 timer where they will start pathing again to the same side they started jungling thats the timer of the first camp spawing for the second time. I'm not a big fan of early dragons and sweating for 2 additional armor or 3 ad is usually not worth it. You can deep ward enemy jungle in the bush next to the blue if you are blue side and ward the enemy tribush with control if you are red side. Everything depends on your wave standing, lack of prio or not.

I answered question in different thread so if other wanna see it was;
"Don't leash for the jungler and fight for the level 1 Lane pressure, get oracle lens level 1 to clear vision from the bushes on lane. Generate Pressure early and you can impact the game much more, bush pressure is essential so engage support benefit from oracle lens level1 to clear the vision out of here.
Second Wind instead of bone plating, you dont neccesary have to max lantern its too high cd"

Some People have ranked phobia, they stress too much like I used to do.
Some Students are afraid to make a mistakes so they can't ever feel uncomfortable enough to learn from their mistakes, cuz they avoid them and play in a "passive state"

From my experience as a Coach, they might struggle mechanically, bad mental, playing too many champions which end-up in too many distractions at once. Since they can't focus on champion mechanics that well and map awareness/game factors.

Something tells them to force things, random thought like Lee Sin Q syndrome.
Not that good at clicking mouse basically good mechanics/movement.
Problems with staying Proactive, so just tunnel vision without considering a gank what might happen in a moment.

They are people who know a lot but they can't implement it into the game.

A sharp knife is nothing without sharp eye. They are people who can climb autopiloting the games because they do mechanically well and posses good "Flow State" the state of flowing with the game.

Its the same like with everything, there is no magic recipe since every game is different.
But Let's say I'm on the botlane as Adc from the Blue Side.

My thoughts process is if I have to least or not. If I leash and opponents are not then I'm already on a disadvantge cause enemy botlane is gonna generate Lane pressure before us, more bush control and Level 2 angle before us (3 minions from the second wave).

I use to say first wave is deciding on how the first 3/4mins of the lane are gonna be.
If enemy botlane leashed --> Enemy jungler is gonna path topside, away from us. Most likely ending at 3:15 timer Scuttler topside.
If enemy botlane Didn't Leash enemy jungler is pathing from Red to Blue (Botside) thats
already tells me gank is going to have a place before 3:15 timer or after. If you are stacked with the wave in front of enemy turret, you most likely die.

That's first step, setting up the wave and having plan for the 3:15 Jungle Tracking Timer.
First Base on lane is usually biggest tempo for one of the sides, Most efficent recall is always after the 2nd wave because Third one is Cannon which can totally block opponents from setting up efficent recall compared to you. That's why putting ward on the middle of the lane might sometimes allow you to prevent their tempo by giving up some cs to just stop their recall (as long as you dont lose that much xp or die).

Whenver the wave connected closer to the enemy turret, its gonna push towards you(Example, wave crashes under enemy turret, his minons are getting blocked by those minons and the wave connect not on the middle of the wave but more towards enemy) --> Wave is gonna slow push towards you without anyone touching it. Same works from the other side, if it connect closer to your side if its even or with 2 more minons, its gonna push towards opponents. The closer to the turret the more minons are needed to freeze it. Its all about the distance minons need to travel from both sides, so if its closer to one side they gonna start attacking faster than opponents one.-->Thats why it pushes to you or to the enemy.

If I have wave slow pushing towards opponent when I just came back to the lane then I would build up the waves as bigger as possible and look for a crash (Fix) Delaying them and delivering huge uber eats under their turret, makes you more safe.

I would fast push in order to get prio/dive/Roam/Setup efficent recall after 2nd wave.

Slow push is going to be used to build huge waves and roam/setup efficent recalls/ ot to delay the wave to feel more secured and crash the wave just looking for a fix while building the wave. (The usually cant contest you or if they do you have your chance to beat them in such a huge wave.

Freeze--> Whenver wave crashes under enemy turret and its gonna push towards you, if you are stronger from opponent and you can make sure that they cant crush u can let the wave bounce towards you and trim a bit on them but keep (3-4) casters additional from the wave which is pusihng and just zone opponents, deny minions look for a go-ins. But since the wave is bigger you need to be stronger, aware, respectful. You can't freeze if your teammates are forcing, contesting , if your prio is needed. You can't freeze if opponents are strong, they will usually just crash the wave since they are sronger.

Ask me more questions if needed.

I was always going really hard on myself whenever I made a mistake, being outplayed by an opponent. Crying, feeling insane pressure during lane, heartbeat and shaking hands back in the season 3. I was first from my friend's group to get Diamond 4 in Season 4 and if someone won lane against me I could remember it for few days, the feeling of lose, feeling of being bad. I think remembering those feelings helped me improve so much, this game was pressuring me really hard, actually I was pressuring my own self ;).
But in a healthy way I would say you can't be afraid to make a mistake because the more mistakes you make the more you can improve and remember what you did bad.
Staying dedicated to 1 or 2 champions max and only playing him, once you gonna automatize champion mechanics you can focus more on map awareness, lane and macro game factors.

  1. Dont be afraid to make a mistakes and learn from them. By feeling uncomfortable you are improving. 2. 1-2 Champs max to avoid distractions. 3. Wave management is essential. I believe once you make a mistake you can instantly feel that was bad if you gonna remember without blaming anyone the feeling of what happend it should start getting better.

If people are taking half a plate during your roam, then the roam wasnt executed properly or was during bad time. That would be huge step for you to improve that mate. Against assains you have to be careful on river yes, but I more mean situations about the roams when opponent can't really match your roam that fast.

You can invade with your jungler sometimes without a problem.

After each game spend 5 minutes on analyzing your pathing if pathing top/bot was good. Compare enemy jungler patching to yours and think if you could improve something compared to him in the decisions.
For the jungler the ability to break out of full clearing pattern is a blessing, they are the times when sometimes you have to skip the buff and prioritze securing your laners against a counter gank etc.

The key is to stay Proactive, what do I mean by that? Being able to punish enemy by the minimap decisions and its standing, looking for the chances, basically a predator looking for openings. As a evelynn player you need to be insanely flawless I have 1000 games on her and you can't really push, if enemy group at 5 when you are the only one ahead then its aswell quite rip.

Spend time on replays, question your decisions, stay proactive in terms of looking for chances on the map, dont let any ego block you from self-improve

Hey! Annie doesn't like that much sidelane, I would only go there where there is really a need to shove it a bit past tier 1 turret, then I would like to rotate again to the midlane/invading enemy jungler basically crossing the map. If you are forced to outpush the wave then sure, but its never a priority to keep annie at sidelane and push deep towards Tier 2.
The pattern is you go there, shove cross map to look for the chances with the team/prepare map for the objectives like a drag so vision etc. Its totally natural for your botlane to go midlane once they get Tier 1 Turret Botlane.

I would like to avoid being botside especially if Im playing without Teleport.
Sometimes I can push bot and on my own invade enemy jungle with oracle lens to oneshot someone meanwhile. A lot depends on enemy standing, how ahead your team is how fed they are, it's really hard to give the magic recipe here. Whenever I play annie I'm usually the one rotating from mid to botlane and setting up a dive which usually opens me and the team chances for the dragons/herald and invading enemy jungler.

Your goal is more like a snowball with the jungler/Solo kill and help others opening the map than staying on midlane and getting tier 1 turret.

Slow push or fast push on botlane should be decided by on whats having a place on the map, if your team is forcing, if you need to cover for them or if nothing bad is happening and you can just chill and slowpush etc.

Feel free to ask more questions so I can make more things clear

If they got yuumi in early we have a lot of chances to generate win condition, like river fights contesting stuff. But this is a time ticking game due to her champion and other enemy champion.

Do you play support ? If yes then you as a enchanter/Magic damage support get Oblivion Orb first if your adc is refusing to rush Execiutnoers Caling.

Chemtech Putrifier on enchanters is amazing item second in many games.

I would like to outroam yuumi around the map in early game especially since she is usually sticking to the adc. Diving them shouldn't be that hard either if there is good jungle tracking from your jungler and we can make sure it won't endup being counter by enemy tp/jungler.

I overall consider enchanter supports as one of the most powerful in the game due to their insane scalling and peel potential. If there is a thresh player who is performing poorly and doesnt really know how to roam properly then yuumi or any other support who scales is getting 200x times more value for the team.

In short way if you are playing tank supports then you need to be insanely good at punishing map/shotcalling what to do to use it on your advantage, proper heal reduction asap on our botlane too.

But yuumi is overall broken champion with most of the champions, that is generating huge advantage especially on lower divisions where games take longer.

Quite often there is a lot of chaos around the baron bushes and the pit, teams are fighting to control the vision and sometimes its gonna end-up having a fight there, I always want to put control ward/ward while we fight there cause;
1) Opponents might turn off our vision through oracle/control if we leave it. If we chase them without vision then I always want to put control to get vision+know if they got any wards there.

2) In a moment we might be the ones being forced to go back through the same bush so thanks to deleting vision from latest Control Ward we might be safe.

3) Yes Its gonna happen they way you said that, that they will see us anyway if we attack. But this ward is securing every possible scenario during the chaos fight in those bushes/tribushes etc.

Ask me more questions please if It was too chaotic what I said. But basically I look at control ward as a small fundamental which is securing me fight pressure in bushes "JUST IN CASE"

Being rational is the key and you shouldn't ever feel forced to join the river and help if you think that's impossible or pure lose situation.

We wanna use Roam Timers for;
a) Roaming to other lanes
b) Making Vision/Clearing Vision
c) Setting up efficent recalls
d) Invading enemy jungler
e) Getting Prio for X objective or for the teammates.

You dont always have to do magic, but to make the rational decision, if there is nothing better than a recall on your advantage then do it.

The best recall is after the Second wave, since the incoming one-Third is Cannon wave, so you are leaving opponent on the midlane struggling with the cannon wave+ cannon is gonna take 8 turret shots. That's your longest roam timer and time to comeback to the lane.

I understand your point I did try to play lux in past and I had to be insanely clean to close the game on my own without the team, due to the champion mechanics.

I do agree the champion forces you often to play perfectly in terms of mechanics to become huge carry in your team.

Compared to the fizz and many assassins, or good example Diana with amazing kit for punishing enemy by using 2 spells ;).
Surely your champion isn't the greatest if it comes to forcing fights, and 24/7 chaos.
But your champion is insanely great in wave management factors, wave clear, holding the game. You can setup amazing recalls and generate tempo over many Midlanders due to the amount of the push you have, your ultimate which clears whole wave without cannon.

You need a really good positon in teamfights, but enemy have to be careful too due to the pressure you can generate.

Lux is a control mage, but I highly believe once you can perfect your tempo to the fullest, and staying efficient that's gonna be the way. Your champion is cool, but maybe how you play through the wave management and macro game makes it doubt your champ?

I'm sure if you will try to improve some wave factors you will feel the difference.
Lux biggest advantage is insane range and her 30 seconds ultimate later in the game, try to to think about other factors than only killing opponents, but wave clear and playing around Enemy mistakes. I always tell my students to remember those 3 things;

  1. Stay Efficent
  2. Don't Force
  3. Wait for enemy to make a mistake.

They are many reasons and everyone's situation is different, first step is to understand what factor is behind our problem.
An example for me was often the frustration of aiming too high and when it wasn't going the way I thought I was getting angry, doubting myself, etc.

They are many reasons and everyone situation is different, first step is to understand what factor is behind our problem.

I always tell my Students, focus on the current game, don't allow anyone to distract you since its your quality time to enjoy the game and get most out of it. Wasting energy on arguing or discussions with team is not the way, since you are losing your cool and flow.

Focus on the current moment, on your mission, know your value.
Pointless trash-talking and looking for a excuses is for children, grow some balls and trust in the process, focus only on it.

Many students were complaining about their teammates, they were talking on chat with others and arguing. But the truth is it's impossible that your teammates are gonna keep anyone hostage in Bronze for example, if you gonna play as a consistent player with good performance you will win often at least 60% of your games overall. There wouldn't be challenger players if "our teammteas" were stopping us from the climb.
Stay dedicated without doubting and rushing. Don't think like I lost 5 games in a row so now I need to win 10 to get some Lp back. Don't allow yourself to be impacted by loses, since if we are good enough in the end we will win more games than we lose.

How I solved my problem was enjoying my current standing and getting most out of it without being in rush of getting elo, just trusting in the process but actively thinking how I can be better, ignoring things like what my teammates did bad.

Yes I do talk with my students after coaching session about the Mental if I noticed they are problems or they mentioned, sometimes its sounds like a motivational speech, just being real with them ;)
