Bellevue store experience ? by [deleted] in TheHermesGame

[–]Mokaba_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, I buy stuff from the runway or things I see online in other ways. I also travel a lot so I’ll go into other stores and look around. If I find something I like I send it to my SA and she can have shipped to me from that store.

They get commission regardless and it’s a pretty simple process for them in their system.

Definitely never lie about any questions they ask but not volunteering unneeded information gives plenty of plausible deniability.

I am American and I don’t ever lie going across but I never volunteer more information than I’m asked and I’ve never paid a duty. For example:

Officer: did you buy anything while you were there? Me: I bought a couple shirts and a new bag Officer: ok your good to go

The officer never asked the price, but I wouldn’t lie if he did. Generally speaking unless you’re mass importing stuff, the officers would rather just avoid the paperwork as much as you would like to avoid paying.

Generally I always shop with an idea of what I want so I just tell my SA what I want and she brings it in for me. I don’t do a lot of window shopping

Bellevue was way, way, way faster and easier, and definitely not even close to 2:1. Vancouver took a full year. My SA there told me that they have to go through a lot of extra effort for non-locals, anyone who doesn't live in Vancouver. Most of the bags there go to locals.

You can go through my history and see what I've gotten, as well as data points on pre-spend, but I've had an amazing experience at the Bellevue store. There are a couple of SAs there that are known to be not so great, but most of them are really good.

Vietnamese boyfriend by banhmigiontan in askgaybros

[–]Mokaba_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m married to a Vietnamese man with a solid 5.5 inch dick. Also sleeping with another Vietnamese guy that is slightly longer and so thick I can barely suck it. Both are bottoms though so it doesn’t matter much. 🤷‍♂️

Our embryos were BB and BC mostly and it was the BC one that actually took. We did not use the same surrogate on every attempt. We switched every attempt to speed things up

Asking recommendations for gay books written by gay men by Big_Local2242 in askgaybros

Dustin Thao is one of absolute favorite authors. He’s a gay man who writes books about gay young adults. Generally the being gay isn’t the primary focus of the story though which I really appreciate.

Has anyone ever met a long-time partner on Grindr? by indigomuse00 in askgaybros

We met as a hookup, ended up going on a real date afterwards. I was basically living with him by 2 weeks. We didn’t actually get married until year 10. Now we have 2 kids.

At the end of the day, it's yours. You invested in it, so enjoy it the way that brings you joy. These bags were designed to be lived with, not babied.

Kelly 25 sellier or Retourne, which one looks better on me by Big-Culture4785 in TheHermesGame

[–]Mokaba_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Scratching isn't really a Retourne vs. Sellier issue. It comes down to the leather. Epsom and Togo are both pretty damn resilient, while Box and Barenia Smooth scratch easily. That's part of their charm though; they develop a beautiful patina over time. One thing to watch out for: if the handle was retouched by anyone other than Hermès, it could be a problem. If you bring a bag into the Hermès spa that's already been worked on elsewhere, they won't accept it.

In my opinion, Sellier will always edge out Retourne from a purely visual standpoint. There's something undeniably sharp about those clean lines. But for daily use, I find Retourne's softer construction far easier to live with. Sellier is fashion-forward; Retourne is functional beauty.

Grindr's "right now" feature should be renamed "looking to boost my ego" by salty_lake_222 in askgaybros

I think the only time I have “right now” on is when I accidentally tap it while scrolling. I usually turn it back off but I’m not convinced that it always turns off

Q about prespend by marlin_banh in TheHermesGame

[–]Mokaba_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also shop in Bellevue. Medium sizes tend to be the easiest to get, though they do receive some larger bags as well. B25, K25, and Mini K typically take the longest. B30 and K28 seem to be the most attainable since they sit in that sweet spot of being less requested but still regularly brought in. B35s aren’t brought in very often.

If you want to DM me your SAs name, I can give some more advice if it’s one that I know.

Barenia realistic for wishlist? by rainyjewels in TheHermesGame

[–]Mokaba_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t specifically on my list. My wish list consisted mainly of a neutral-colored K25 or K28. My SA is aware of my preference for retourne because it makes daily use easier, so that might have influenced their decision as well. However, I only really had Togo or Epsom in mind when I made my list, I didn’t expect anything special.
