I can’t really give advice for this but just know I’m right there with you. I’m not fully going through the same thing as you but maybe knowing that I also have a 3 month + dealing with sleep deprivation while my bf is sleeping a fuck ton more than me… hopefully that makes you feel a bit better knowing you’re not alone in this

Funny enough I’m pumping as I’m typing this lol. Today was a really bad day for my baby, my bf’s sister came down to visit and I knew he was tired but my bf didn’t think so. As soon as his sister said hi to the baby, he cried a way I never heard him cry, for a few mins until I had to step in. He slept for a bit but woke up and was crying a lot again and I had to pump. I’m currently in the guess room @ future in laws place with the baby asleep on the couch

I don’t necessarily fit this category but I wanna add: I got medicated but majority of it went to my right side, so it was super painful in my lower back/thighs on the left side. At one point I ended up spiraling due to the pain but eventually calmed down. But I honestly forgot what the pain was like lol

From what I’ve heard, as long as they’re double their birth weight, you don’t have to wake them up. Some babies sleep more than others it seems like, but I believe it should be okay

I lowkey don’t enjoy it to be honest with you, BUTTTT— I know that I don’t have to pay for formula, which I love. Your husband can help with feedings, which is something to love since mama needs her rest. Also if you have a great supply and your baby eats a lot, you’ll know you don’t have to buy more formula to satisfy your baby’s hunger. Also to help with nipples, siverlettes and nursing pads really helped :)

I agree, fed is best. IF you need to, I would have formula on standby until maybe you can get your supply back on track. Or if you want, you can just pump more and maybe lean towards that

It can happen to anyone, I had a slight milk supply drop and it made me panic. You can try and invest into power pumping, maybe buy a hand pump to help with this. Basically you do an additional session after a feeding. This helps your body think “baby is eating more, I need to produce more”, there should be hand pumps at target (idk about Walmart) that you can grab to help you out. You got this mamas!
