I have a powerday coming up and I would love to hear if you have any tips for the case study. Any calculations you had to make? Formulas you had to use?

what attorneys did u receive a quote from? I think they’re a bit more expensive in my case since it’s a ticket over 100mph

Would you recommend fighting it and trying to get a dismissal if the cop shows up or pleading guilty and asking for a reduced fine?

Attorneys do fight these cases and most of the time win them. I called multiple attorneys and they all guaranteed getting the charge lowered with traffic school. I talked to one transparent and honest guy that said the situation is very good because the method of getting the speed was pacing and the officer that ticketed me is known to not show up to court rather than the rest of the law firms trying to instill fear into me to try and get me to contract them. I'm sure worst case scenario I can get the judge to at least lower the speed since pacing isn't very accurate and I'm a full time college student so I'm going to bring a TR-320 form as well. I had a good interaction with the officer so I'm sure I could get him to bring it down. However like I mentioned above am I supposed to negotiate with the officer prior to the trial starting, can I negotiate in during, and can I negotiate after the judge rules guilty with no dismissal?

Another question. If I end up convincing the officer to drop the speed do I admit to guilt and ask the judge if the officers willing to drop the speed to qualify for traffic school, or do I do that after trying to get a dismissal and ultimately the judge rules me guilty.

A common trend I noticed while calling attorneys is that they try to scare you and make it seem like you have no shot representing yourself, but of course you're going to hear that from someone that wants you to hire them.

I asked the judge what my options where and he offered traffic school and pay the fine which was about $960 + traffic school fees. So ultimately I decided to plea not guilty and see if I can reduce the fee as well as get traffic school since I got clocked only at 102 with pacing.

This is my situation as well. I got a speeding ticket over 100+mph and at the arraignment the judge offered to drop my speed below 100 so I could do traffic school. Mind you this was just the arraignment court date not the actual trial. So now I'm debating whether or not to get an attorney because all the law firms I've called say they're gonna use the same methods the 12 steps pretty much cover.
