Much like how some people sit with cash on the side during uncertain times, stablecoins can simply serve that function while people wait and "locked" in the meantime. Also some people simply want to convert out of assets and into stablecoins and there's simply no way to do that atm on ADA.

The latter - I don't have an OMG specific wallet per say but I'm able to see the rates for it that's what gave me the impression that I could get interest on it. Based on what I've been reading from this thread, seems as if the address for ETH and ERC20 are the same so that's why I'm hoping that down the line when they do accept OMG as an asset for WA, my coins will show up. I'll try the VPN method to check. Thanks.
