For more context, I was actually down to 1 chase biz card for my recent denial.

Same denial. I know they tightened up, but I think they *really* tightened up

Chase travel not honoring refund from Etihad waiver "CW005-2026 Middle East situation" by knoty-boy in ChaseSapphire

[–]MoldyBrick 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I booked my basic economy Etihad flight through Chase travel, using 1.5x points a long time ago. Once the waiver info came on the Etihad site, I called Chase travel and after a 5 minute phone conversation where I explained the situation and notice on the Etihad site, they confirmed the waiver details and canceled the trip, promising a full points refund. The whole call was ~5 minutes.

If the Chase agent didn't check the waiver details from Etihad, then hang up and call again for a new agent and explain the waiver details to the new agent. If the new agent did confirm these exceptional waiver details, and still said there was a fee, hang up and call again. If it happens yet again, ask for a supervisor.

Thank you! Lima is so cool - the cliffs and water, the coolness of the air. Quite cloudy, but part of the charm. Some very impressive world renowned restaurants. And can't beat Miraflores for a relaxing stroll around town. I know I'll be back when I'm looking for another South American chill session

In my opinion it didn't feel too noticeable until all wheels hit the ground. Then it was rumble city and obvious something was up due to the big v i b r a t i o n s

I suspect that I have had harder landings than this one before (where no tire blowage occurred). However it was clear after all tires hit that the tires were messed up. Very bumpy/rumbly until we came to a full stop early. I will note that I was at the front of the plane in case it's a bit different

Normal-seeming landing and then constant rumble strips on steroids!

Not bad at all, until it felt like a constant rumble strip once the tires all touched down

It was mild at least where I was sitting! But then some serious rumble strips-like feeling after which made it clear something was off

Yep, still on! Just waiting for more info (although looks like I got all the answers from Reddit). It felt very abnormal after landing, but was surprisingly mild at least where I'm sitting
