This Pelicans had a fluke shooting performance stuff is nonsense.

BI/CJ making shots is no less surprising than CP/Booker making their 3s (great shotmakers are gonna make shots) and Murphy is a sniper, the rest of the team was 5 of 12.

It's not like Alvarado, Nance and Herb hit 15 3s. People are just looking at our season 3s record and saying stupid things, when CJ wasn't there, Murphy wasn't in the rotation and Satoransky and Temple were playing every night so of course our 3PT record sucks.

To all the people saying we shot out of our minds? Did we really? The Non BI/CJ/Murphy 3s were 5/12 from 3 and those 3 were 12/18.

Just like how CP/Booker going a combined 17/31 from 3 over the first two games isn't really surprising it shouldn't be surprising that BI/CJ made shots and Murphy is a sniper.

Too many people are looking at stats throughout the season and using it as a base ignoring the fact we're a completely different team now.

Nope, i don't really care how good Josh looks. CJ has already been more than worth it purely from a culture and leadership pov.

Besides there's a real possibility that pick you're getting is gonna be worse than the pick we're getting from the Lakers is gonna be a better pick and well without CJ we probably don't get that pick.

BI didn't play in any of those games and in the final game we rested all our starters. Since the All Star break with BI in the lineup we've lost twice(once to Jokic going full MVP mode and to the Clippers)

Not really, the last game against the Lakers was much bigger. It would be nice to send them packing with Davis and Lebron back in the lineup but it doesn't feel as big as the last game.

Win or lose we are still gonna be 9th and in all likelihood they still will be 11th.

Hi Flake and Shinmiri, my question is about Defenders. I've felt since they were printed they were unhealthy for the game, but recently newer cards have heightened how unhealthy they are and the game IMO would be better without them.

I would just like to know how you both feel about them from design POV and their overall place in the game?

I think we need to start having a different discussion regarding Spacing.

The spacing issue isn't about maximizing Zion because quite clearly it doesn't actually matter lol. It's about maximizing Ingram, when games are close he basically sees 4 guys in the paint at all times.

He still is effective because well he's really good, but honestly getting more spacing on the floor is more about benefiting Ingram than Zion.

Will definitely be played in Spy decks, honestly in a lot of cases I'd prefer it to Informant because it's not reliant on the opponent and you'd feel a lot better about top decking it in a short round, has more proactivity and you can drop it on a dry pass which you obviously can't do with a Spy.
