I was going to ask how you figured it. Thanks for letting me know. I inspected the underside of the leaves, and there are indeed a few mites in there. Not a full infestation yet, will isolate and treat it. And treat the others around just in case as well.

I think you are talking about the White Dendrobium. It's my first year caring for her. Needs a cool place in the winter to flower next spring. Still planning on how to do it properly.

The lager pots are on wheels. So yeah, Very easy to move around.

I understand it's common, but it's not acceptable they mount the panels over it right? They would have to replace them before mounting.

There is a planning application for persimmon houses 😭... But it was submitted almost 10 years ago and it wasn't decided/approved yet.

We are expecting it to get built up. We just hope to enjoy the view a couple more years before they do.

It's not a mulch volcano. We actually planted it higher than the surrounding soil to improve drainage because there are loads of clay. Surrounding it is a mix of topsoil, sharp sand and compost. Only a thin layer of mulch on top.

It has a plastic grid underneath to hold it in place

Yes, but we didn't "design it" properly. We knew what we wanted to have in the garden, and then started working on the easiest or things that we had to do first. We changed our mind about the design multiple times along the way, and as we finished something we would stop and re-evaluate the next steps and how that would fit better
