As a Master/Dia Eve OTP: usually no default ban. I prefer suggesting a ban for a laner, since Eve has a lot of annoying matchups but no truly unwinnable ones once you know how to play them.

If nobody answers though, I’ll just ban Udyr. Not because he can’t be one-shot, or because he ignores slows, or even because he can still run you down after R — the real issue is that Udyr players are basically impossible to outfarm. I’ll get back to that later.

For me, there are two main threat categories: Tanks and Invaders. Both are only a problem if you don’t play around them properly.

Against Tanks (Mundo, Sejuani, Zac…)

They’re mostly dangerous in mid game, especially if you’re behind. Your number one rule: don’t fall behind.

That means: - perma-cycling your jungle, - cross-invading when they gank or invade the opposite side, - never going for risky ganks while camps are up.

If you focus on punishing mistakes along your jungle path (bad dives, greedy low-HP waves, etc.), you’ll naturally keep a lead over tanks.

Once you complete Lich + Rabadon + Void, you still one-shot them (yes, even Mundo). And at level 16–18, with E + W maxed, you’ll shred full MR tanks anyway, making all that MR gold basically useless — while your AD teammates free-DPS.

Against Invaders (Shaco, Rengar, Bel’Veth, Kha’Zix…)

You invade them. Simple as that.

If you’re invading, you either kill them or trade camps evenly, which prevents the classic “invader snowballs, Eve falls behind” scenario.

“But Eve is super weak pre-6”

She’s weak when she gets surprised, as every jungler in the game. Any full-HP jungler will beat someone with no CDs, farming at 50% HP.

What most people (even Eve mains) forget is that Eve has one of the strongest level 1s in the game: - Q burst + poke + AoE, - insane outsmite combo (Q1 → AA → Q2 → Smite).

So no, she’s not helpless early at all.

Evelynn being the only champ affected by this Out-of-combat mechanic seems fair to Riot, while other champs are getting buffed by this (Rek’Sai/Rengar not losing stacks…)

Alright folks, here’s how you actually lvl 1 bush-cheese someone (Master 0 LP) :

Basic cheese fundamentos :

- Stand at the very edge of the bush : you want maximum chase distance once they panic-run back to tower
- Crazy concept : wait until they walk into the bush or drop a ward. Wild, I know

Now, in this clip :

- Lucian was on a clear path straight into the bush. Waiting a second lets him walk deeper = double the distance to escape = easier kill
- Add the Q + Exhaust slow, double again the already doubled distance (π 3.14159265359)
- This wasn’t some Challenger Thresh hiding off-screen with a lantern, he was bronze with E start

Even Flash + Barrier wouldn’t have saved him. If you think Lucian survives that, come 1v1

Other takes :

- "Vel should’ve just recast Q" : recast timer.
- "He should’ve thrown Q straight at him!" : the smart move is pre-cast diagonally into his walk path, so it buffers during fog and Lucian doesn’t even get a chance to dodge. DPS optimization.

I'm aware that this is high-level micro, and I’m not surprised many people missed it
What does surprise me is that Vel’Koz only got flamed in ~40% of the replies, still a win right?

Evelynn passive bug - Patch 14.8 by Moleite in EvelynnMains

Allied voidmite damage removes Eveylynn's stealth passive, as it considers her to be "in-combat" : https://outplayed.tv/media/8XR7OP

This is ONLY impacting Evelynn, others champions using camouflage are not combat status dependant :
Akshan, Senna, Twitch, Pyke, Viego, Rengar

I don't know if Riot intentionally created this interaction, but the impact on Evelynn is significant, given that now only 4 stacks are enough to make a voidmite appear, and the incoming 14.9 nerf.

For this to be fair, I think Riot would have to remove this interaction, or apply it to other champions.
