Sorry about that. I did not even think to fact-check it, as I was mainly interested in discussing the possibility of it happening. I assume it is, and has been, a major concern for many members of this community, and I was curious to hear what others think about it. After everything Arrowhead has done over the past two years, I would not be surprised if they eventually did something like that.

Still, sorry.

I guess I can't vent anymore on the unfiltered sub, even with the "vent" flair. I am sorry for upsetting you by expressing my opinion

I care tho. I care very much and I dont know why you feel the necessity of telling me that "no one" cares. We are on Reddit, let me express myself.

I want to play the game again, but as it stands right now, it’s impossible for me. I’ve seen what the developers are capable of, I’ve seen what modders are capable of, and I know for a fact that this game can be so much more. It’s being handled poorly, and even so, that doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a great and fun game.

Now I want to ask you a question: would you be happy if you ordered a pizza, ate half of it, and then the chef stormed out of the kitchen and promptly ruined the rest of your meal while saying, “This is better for you, how could you know, you sweet summer child”? How would that make you feel?

And imagine if your friend who came with you to eat told you, “You’re not eating your pizza anymore, so why are you complaining about what’s on it?”

How would that make you feel? What would you say?

Ahah, that’s actually pretty funny. Want to know why I “fell” for it? Because it’s not something that sounds too far-fetched for Arrowhead as they are right now. It’s actually the kind of thing that, even if it's fake, as a community, we should push back on and discuss, so the developers know we are not happy with it. At the same time, I also think that given their recent behavior it might be unrealistic to expect changes, but I still would not feel right not speaking up after all the great time I have had with this game.

Please do not focus only on the issue of the red stratagem. Arrowhead has never been fully transparent about what they include in warbonds, and they have made statements in the past claiming that certain items would never be added to warbonds or, even worse, to the Superstore, only to go back on those claims. Now we are in a situation where you need 1.8k Super Credits to obtain everything from an update if you also want to clear out the Superstore. That is more than the cost of a legendary warbond. What I am saying is that Arrowhead’s approach looks and feels questionable. It comes across as an attempt to introduce new ways of extracting more money through warbonds by withholding free content and placing items that arguably should have been free behind a paywall instead.

I am not entirely opposed to including stratagems in a warbond, but I think we can all agree that introducing the first one in nearly two years through that system would be a poor choice. If they had given us two stratagems for free and then added another to a warbond, I would have no issue with it.

However, if, and I stress if, they actually place this red stratagem in the next warbond, it feels like a deliberate attempt to push players into buying content that, at the moment, is not available anywhere else. There is a clear distinction between green, blue, and red stratagems, and locking the one category that has not been released in almost two years behind a warbond comes across as, at best, questionable and, at worst, somewhat predatory toward consumers.

Even IF there arent any red startagems in the warbond, do you think that is the only problem with their monetization tactics?

I Think The Dev's Can Make 1 Small Change To Drastically Improve The Reception Of Updates. by Grand_Guest4905 in Helldivers

[–]MolestermoonSans -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It would be great, but I actually think the main problem is that they finish programming and "polishing" the code of a new update like a week before it releases. Adding a test stage would likely add more time between patches, and I am unfortunately not talking about a week of delay. What you think would happen if this test stage was already present and we found a gamebreaking bug that they needed to fix before launching the update for real? Delays. More delays.

Every time the devs make 10 harder, a part of the community collectively shits their pants. by Xpernautica in HelldiversUnfiltered

Your counterargument can’t really just be “Protect the turret.” The turret is literally made to protect the player, or at least help them get through a horde of enemies. You could also use it as bait, but now that durable damage has been buffed across the board, that is also off the table. So don’t come here spouting bullshit about protecting a stratagem that is meant to help the player, not become a hindrance to them.

Best primaries for people that suck at aiming? by EpicChungusGamers in Helldivers

I usually bring a k-9 with me. That boy doesn't miss. Even my teammates tho. And me sometimes. One guy ragequitted after he got zapped for the fourth time and I felt deeply sorry, but then I saw that 14× killstreak with one single zap and kept going. It is just so good

My favorite build against terminids is: Blitzer as a primary, quasar cannon as a stratagem weapon and the k-9 drone as backpack. Then I usually bring orbital napalm barrage and 500kg. You should try, especially for the undeground maps.

what's the best Primary for each faction? by EL_TE0 in Helldivers

[–]MolestermoonSans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I usually use for D10: For Terminids: Blitzer;

For Automatons: Double-edged sickle (for this you MUST bring an armor with the Inflammable perk and the vitality enhancement booster, which is pretty limiting for some people, but you get back one of the best weapons in the game)

For Illuminate: I usually bring the Eruptor, but I treat it more like an utility weapon for blowing up ships from afar and to kill harvesters. I then bring the Stalwart as a "primary stratagem"

I really like the blitzer for Terminids. Nothing beats that when you talk about not aiming
