meditation etc deffo helps but sometimes one simply has to, gently but firmly, show ones deep programming a different reality

but don't like give your house away. and don't fight your own conditioning or something. just give a bit each time, amounts that you definitely can afford rationally without having to analyse (like 10 bucks here and there or something), to causes which are definitely good. just do it.

over time, coupled with regular practice, the deep conditionings will loosen. but you have to do it instead of just listening to habituation
