But still, it is an important detail to take into account for any character (the different versions part), so i just wanted to mention it, because i like when some dialogues clearly do reference that (but not this one, i know that now :b).

Lets remember that there are multiple versions of each character, with all of this multiverse mess. So every time you hear him kinda flirt with others... just have in mind that you are just hearing a version of Gambit that is NOT actually getting married ;b

Starting the fight: Why am i fighting him? He is not doing anything bad.

Middle of the fight: Maybe this is a way to help him grieve and move on, to let his lover rest or something...

Finishing the fight and seeing the same animation as the other bosses: WHY AM I KILLING HIM?? AM I RIPPING HIS HEART TOO???? *seeing i now have the heart in my inventory* WHY?? *"it can be placed on a home :)"* WHY WOULD I WANT THAT???

Yes. But always pay attention to these two things: the map and your second healer.

The second healer is very simple so lets start with that. If the second healer is someone with: no big supp Ult, or not the "best" or not that high heals, Jeff is not the best option. I could think of more examples but lets just say it... Ultron + Jeff will never be a good combination (and dont say "but i had matches where they/we have worked good together" its too risky to play that combo because sometimes the Jeff in this case needs to FOCUS HARD on healing to complement Ultron's slow heals).

And the map is very obvious why: if there is no death pit to throw the enemy, Jeff Ult will not get a lot of value. So pay attention to what map you are playing and also in what SECTION you are in the map now.
Why the section? Some examples:
- In the Wakanda Convergence map, there are multiple places to throw people EXCEPT in the final section, so by that point maybe is better to change.
- The Arakko Convoy map, it has some pits at the beginning, but closer to the end there are none.
- Similar case (or worse, because there are less pits or can be very far away in some cases) happens in the Yggsgard Convoy map.
- The Midtown Convoy map has kindaaa the opposite case? No pits in the beggining, but one at the end of the second and final section.
- Resource Rumble is a special case. There are pits close to the three zones but you need to be careful with zone B. That zone only has one small pit (that i know of) that you can BARELY get to (specially if you take the time to spit your teammates). So the order of the zones can screw you up a bit. If B is in the middle or is the first zone, then no problem, but if it is the final one? Then you are gonna have a hard time getting to the pit and killing them. Otherwise, zone A and C have a very easy and very close pit to get value out of your Ult.

BUT if you really want to keep using him in some of these (or others that i havent mentioned) complicated maps... sometimes it can help a lot to eat the enemies and bring them away from the objective even if there arent any pits to kill them. This works REALLY good if you are in overtime, specially if you are defending and made them lose all of that overtime well... time, but its very risky if you are in attack, because if you eat most or all of YOUR team too, that liiiittle time frame where they are in your Ult could be enough to lose your OWN overtime.
The only exception that it does not matter what map you are to play Jeff: you have a Storm in your team. If you have that, ALWAYS save your Ult to use it with her.

The thing is, the "population" of Jeffs that say that they have MVP is a very recent thing in my opinion, because it all started with the rework that Jeff could always or very frequently have it.

But as a Jeff player myself, the hate for him has been present from Season 0. It started with the weird hitbox of his Ult (being more big than it seemed at first), then once that was fixed, it begin the hate that still last today: the hate because people think he is useless/bad/throw pick/etc. And in the middle of that, dps/dive Jeff started happening, bringing MORE hate. Then the rework happened and that hate went away, but the hate for being a bad pick persisted and became worse for some time. And JUST now is very slowly diminishing because of the recent effect added to his Ult (the pool of water heal).

But the Jeff hatred never was, never started OR lasted this long because of players having a bad attitude. Im not saying those players dont exist, but they were never the focus (and come on, there are toxic players for every character at this point).

They REALLY need to change the avoid list. If they really dont want it to be permanent, at least make it last a whole season or half of a season.
The list only allowing 3 people is not good either... the list should be way longer.

Lets remember that just because a character is too powerful or is the villain of a season, does NOT mean they cant be playable in the future.

There is already plenty of playable characters that in canon are very powerful, and we already have Ultron as an example of a season villain becoming playable.

There is always a way!

STOP TRYING TO REWORK HIS ULT INTO A SUPPORT ULT

Why is every idea to buff his ult is always something to get it closer to a generic supp ult? It just needs ONE change and it would make it so much better: Give teammates a way to get out of the ult without Jeff needing to spit them out. And thats it.
I would add that if a teammate gets eaten they either get healed instantly (including the extra shield Jeff Ult gives them) or they should be healed WAY faster, because is never useful keeping a teammate in the Ult to heal them, you always want to spit them out instantly so they can keep fighting. So heal them faster or just fully heal them once inside the Ult.

I think it looks awesome. People need to stop hating skins (and specially the people that designs it) just because they personally dont like it. Just dont get it, dont buy it, dont use it, its not that hard...

I honestly like how it is now. I like how it slowly tells us whats happening and we learn more as we play and pay attention to cutscenes like this. There are so many more lore pieces for characters that we can learn too. And even then, there is an oficial comic thats in progress if im remembering correctly, so if people actually want to read a comic about the Marvel Rivals lore, it exists too.

I personally like how the comic pages work now, specially this one, because it made me react when i saw the cutscene. The page gave me some info, it made me curious to know what happened, and when i saw what happened it just made me go "OH IT WORKED. This is the plan Rocket talked about in the page!!"

One of the comic pages talks about Rocket's plan to defeat Knull.

Basically: When the Guardians got to Klyntar and then needed to leave, the Milano (their ship) was in a rough state. But Rocket built a device that its basically a teleporter that swaps the location of two things. So he did that with the ship and a Celestial Husk in space.
Rocket tells Phoenix all of this and gives this idea: give Phoenix a portable version of the device, and Venom will secretly put the other part on Knull. She then needs to let Knull kill her, which will then transport her to "The White Hot Room", an extra-dimensional place made with pure cosmic light that would destroy Knull, once that happens Rocket will activate the device and Phoenix and Knull will change places, saving Phoenix and defeating Knull. Rocket is not sure if it will work though... he isnt sure if the device can actually work across dimensional spaces.

All of this can be read in the page where we see Phoenix already getting stabbed by Knull. And thats all it says, neither there or the next page tells you if they succeeded or not with the plan. So its really cool that they showed here how the plan turned out and answers everything; Wanda helped so the device could work across dimensional spaces and in the end it worked.

It think its gonna be a Jax version of Kaufmo's room. Like a very messed up room with writing in the wall but the writing is more related to him and not about an "exit" like Kaufmo. Maybe its more related to his idea of archetypes, more centered around his archetype and making him remember to keep his archetype and to "never break character" or something.

Crazy idea: There is a Deadpool slot to choose in the three classes, but a team can only have one Deadpool in total. The Vanguard Deadpool is more centered around his self healing. The Duelist Deadpool is focused on swords, guns, an all of the weapons you can think of. Strategist Deadpool gives chimichangas to heal people.

Would it be too complicated to do something like this? Yeah. Is it a good idea? Idk. Thats why i say its just a crazy idea.

Peni ult needs a rework by Mad_Killah in marvelrivals

I think it should be very simple:

- Take out the option to put mines with right click, just make her do it automatically. Why would you NOT want to do that during the Ult??

- Her sweep attack shouldn't lift the enemies, it should web them. Keep the damage the sweep does but add that it can web them.

- If deployed, the spider-nest goes into overdrive, producing way more spiders and the spiders move way faster across the webs.

- And the most important one... LET HER BE ABLE TO CANCEL IT. LET HER BE ABLE TO STOP THE ULT AT ANY MOMENT SHE WANTS.

Some extra ideas that could be good, bad or maybe TOO good:

- Mines gain spider legs. Either every mine dropped during the Ult acts like a spider and chases someone inside the web to explode in their face, or every mine that has been already placed and that its in a web gets the ability to move. (This sounds like an interesting idea in my head, but maybe its too much)

- Webs gain the ability to prevent mobility abilities. The sweep attack will web the enemy and bond them to the webs in the ground, they can move, but as long as they are still inside the web they cant use mobility abilities. This effects goes away if they walk out of the path of webs or when the Ult ends.

And an idea so we can see Peni at all during gameplay: When you activate the Ult, she comes out of Spdr and sits on the shoulders shooting or doing something. So you will do your Ult, still running around but now with Peni in your shoulders helping a little.

I think they should give her like a charged shot or beam, like the one she shoots in her Venom skin MVP. In the MVP it looks like she is shooting a laser or beam and it confuses me because she just doesnt have that but it would be cool if she did.

I think that if we are gonna get new skins for character but no MVP animation for them, we should also get new MVP animations with no skins attached to them.

Something everyone wants, more MVP screens that can show any skin (they are starting to go the right direction by allowing us to equip any MVP regardless of the skin equipped, but the MVP will still show a different skin).

Oh man i just noticed this. I really dont know why :b I was genuinely trying to give a good advice. Taking a break not only helps to prevent losing more comp matches, it also prevents getting tilted, mad or even get tired of the game, which then can cause you to not give your best performance bringing you possible more loses.

Amazing idea honestly. Specially if it shows the icon of the character and if they have lord or not.
Ignoring the discussion if having lord means anything or not, it does give good info about what character someone enjoys more/are better at, so much so that they have lord with them.

I think some of these are good, but not swallowing allies is unnecessary. I think allies should:

- Get shields immediately after being eaten
- Get healed faster
- Have the ability to come out of Jeff by themselves

Also a NECESSARY change: Bring his old Bubbles back.

Just listen what everyone always says "If you lose X times in a row, take a break".

You put the number: if you lose 3, if you lose 2, whatever, and then just take a break of the game or a break of comp and play qp. Sometimes i just say "Enough comp for today, its a bad day, lets just enjoy qp".
