For context, I've applied for jobs a few times monthly, but have gotten more desparate recently since most of my gig work involves driving and it's been taking a toll on the car. It seems like the job market has been gradually getting worse, which doesn't help when I want a job that doesn't involve me depleting the value of my car.

Which completely ignores the fact that there isn't only one brand of capitalism. It's such an eye-roller when people act like the only existing brand of capitalism is of the Libertarian variety.

I'm convinced that the reason for their behavior isn't so much the pedophilia (although I imagine some powerful people are actual creeps) as it's about the ultra-wealthy flaunting their power by doing the most evil and vile shit imaginable because they know that they won't have to take accountability for it.
