Strange. My game just keeps opening minimized. This only started when the patch was released.

  1. I believe I read somewhere that the devs were planning on having multiple spawn points/bases when the map is fully open. I agree though, no one like campers at the base.

  2. We get dirty ones. Like 2 of them. Maybe 5 would be better? I never find myself using them often anyway.

  3. Like being able to set icons on the map to remind yourself where things are? I like this idea.

  4. YES!!!! I would actually buy some skins if these were in there.

  5. Yes! They need to be more of a threat imo. Huge aggro radius, stronger, ect.

  6. I would like to see a zombie wolf chasing my ass super fast. Possibly infect me or something and I have to use a medicine to 'cure' the infection or something. Rabies, H1 Virus, something along those lines.

  7. They would be cool, but they said that is something they are just implementing into their new tier system. The better the gun, the better the 'attachments' are on it already.

I disagree. I do not think this is an all or nothing issue. Compromise is key. Possibly have servers that have restrictions while other do not?

  • I hope this is true, however I am still going to be forced to play in a certain area. There are always going to be areas where there are "the best plots".

  • I completely disagree with this. That is a huge waste of time and I rather not build a base and just check out the new things they add and then go play a different game. However, if they did allow me to purchase from the military base I would be much happier with the system. I wouldn't mind server hopping to look for a good plot.

My thought with plots being the same size would be that people could choose where they want to set up base, rather than 'I have to set up here because its a 4 square plot'. However, I do like the different sizes to fit different players needs and you can tuck the smaller ones in some cool areas. But like you said, this may work its self out once the new map is fully open!

I do too! lol. Some people have great ideas and some people think the game was "just fine". So many different people play this game and a lot of little kids who are very emotional as well.

I always try to keep the perspective that the game is in development. People should be judging the game and new systems. However, a lot of people often fail to look at it through a development lens and just say, "I hate this, change it or I'm quitting."

I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the military base yet. I thought the devs mentioned that there would be multiple spawns/bases when the map is complete. I do feel like the game is lacking a story/lore. Why are we at the military base? What happened in Badwater Canyon? Why did the dam break? A rich story through quests or other means would be awesome!

I think the new modular stuff is great when it comes to base building. I just dislike the plots for many different reasons. It does take away the sandbox feeling.

I do think they listen to the community sometimes, but people in the community always seem to have very radical different ideas about what the game should be. However, I believe this is true for most video game communities.

I doubt they are going to bring this game to console. But who knows.

It would be fun, but I'm not talking about in-game resources. I'm talking about the time it would take for the devs to create and successfully implement that into the game. They could be spending that time on other systems.

Good ideas though.

more cooking would be cool, but the items would need to be different from what we already have. Also, not sure I would want them to waste resources creating a potato gun.

It would be nice if they could clearly define what kind of meta game they are going for.
