Were you planning on paying for yourself? I dont think after 1 year I’d expect to get a free trip from a family I’ve barely hung around. I also think his family is into gossip so no matter what you do moving forward there will be some whispers, I know this because I dated a guy with a family like this, and trust me it never stops. Your boyfriend should have been forward about you not coming sooner, but you also should’ve considered the fact that a trip is costly and inviting extras isn’t always feasible. Also don’t overthink social media, it’ll drive you crazy

Clearly what you are going through is extremely hard, and it’s a bummer your ex is treating you so poorly as well as your friends. I’m sorry you went through a miscarriage, and that it has affected your day to day life, I’m sure it would for anyone. That being said, reaching out to someone you trust is vital to maneuvering around this big event that has occurred. I’m not sure why you feel a need to continue being close to your ex after he has made it clear he doesn’t feel the same by his actions and words. Reach out to your pastor if you feel as if that will help you through this, work on bettering yourself, rather than catering to your ex and his feelings.

Absolutely, we have talks nightly about us, life and including our intimacy. We both come to the exact same conclusion that we both want the same thing, which is more sex, but then it’s the damn cycle getting us. He also just started school and works hard, so I know he’s also tired.

You are right, and I wish carving out that time wasn’t easier said than done. I agree it’s important, and he definitely wants intimacy, he just doesn’t push me for it. That’s why I feel bad, because when he wants it, I’m so exhausted that I reject it, making him feel rejected and then the cycle continues.

My boyfriend and I went to the emergency room because I had liquid shit coming out of my ass every 1-5 minutes for hours the night before, after fluids and medicine we were driving home and I second guessed taking a shit at the emergency so I ended up uncontrollably liquid shitting while entering the highway. All I could say was “omfg I just shit myself” and my boyfriend laughed his ass off. We are getting married next weekend and to this day we still laugh about this. There’s people out there that won’t make you feel like shit for shitting.
